Have you played Eye of the Beholder?
No, not that one. The GBA one. It's more like the goldbox games with turn-based tacticool combat. It's also based on 3E.

The Earth Lords (whose registered version is only here, I think) has an overworld and total garbage portraits but also very cool dungeons, as well as a 40 part equipment (unfortunately you control only one character).

Helherron has an overworld too but it is all about killing shit in dungeons and combat is really fun. Also you create 8 characters.

Even kid me thought first Hero Quest sucked but I had quite some fun with Legacy Of Sorasil back then.

The Shadowgate remake is worth it if you have not played the original.

I really like Caverns of Xaskazien II when it comes to rogue-likes, especially because I think the dungeon is always overall cool to explore.

The world of Voidspire Tactics is more or less a big dungeon.

Not sure you care about japanese stuff, japanese Wizardries in particular, most of those require emulation but Wizardry Empire 2 was released on pc, I've not played it past the beginning yet though' so I can't really talk about it.

If you never played Perihelion then maybe you can. There's a very first bullshit keyword (you have a hint in the manual and the answer to the hint I add to look for) and the UI is shit but for the rest it's a cool small game.

I owe a lot to Legacy of Sorasil. I was about 15 at the time and the levels took a while to load, so I just started doing push-ups while waiting. I got really addicted to it. Back in 94, muscled teens were much more rare than nowadays, and my new pecs were a success among the girls.

What about Albion? The kenget kamulos dungeon was pretty massive and great. At least from my memories. I think I've finished that game 4 times
