The Earth Lords (whose registered version is only
here, I think) has an overworld and total garbage portraits but also very cool dungeons, as well as a 40 part equipment (unfortunately you control only one character).
Helherron has an overworld too but it is all about killing shit in dungeons and combat is really fun. Also you create 8 characters.
Even kid me thought first Hero Quest sucked but I had quite some fun with
Legacy Of Sorasil back then.
The
Shadowgate remake is worth it if you have not played the original.
I really like
Caverns of Xaskazien II when it comes to rogue-likes, especially because I think the dungeon is always overall cool to explore.
The world of
Voidspire Tactics is more or less a big dungeon.
Not sure you care about japanese stuff, japanese Wizardries in particular, most of those require emulation but
Wizardry Empire 2 was released on pc, I've not played it past the beginning yet though' so I can't really talk about it.
If you never played
Perihelion then maybe you can. There's a very first bullshit keyword (you have a hint in the manual and the answer to the hint I add to look for) and the UI is shit but for the rest it's a cool small game.
