Getting close to a playable demo build.
So this is the Wiz8's version of Grimoire then? I guess we'll find out in twenty years or so.So, it turns out there's a reason this game looks a lot like Wizardry 8: https://rpgcodex.net/forums/index.p...-with-the-5e-ogl-ruleset.132904/#post-6701507
Oh no now i’m basically forced to be interested.Yes, Almkaz joins Cleveland Mark Blakemore and StellarTactics in the unlikely group of ex-Sirtech devs that resurfaced to release their dream indie RPGs decades later.
This guy was the lead programmer of JA2 too, very prestigious.
I've never played that type of game, but why can't you use mouse to actually pick commands during combat? It's turn based anyway.
I believe the game can be fun but not being able to use the mouse was infuriating (and there was no option menu explaining what the keyboard shortcuts are) so I was bashing the keyboard trying to see what works. After maybe 30 min I saved the game and exited, and when I loaded the game back up I could only start a new game.
Sounds like crap.5e OGL
I've been on the Codex long enough to know that's not necessarily a good thing.Sir-Tech veteran
I'd prefer a wink-wink nudge-nudge tactical game, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth. This guy was the lead programmer of JA2 too
New User Interface!
Our user interface has been updated - the main new feature is mouse/cursor mode. This kicks in during combat and removes the need to navigate actions using keys.
This update also fixes a few bugs which were found during the Summer Game Festival.
While old saved games should load we recommend starting a new game.
