I bought this game expecting an RPG, but I couldn't find anywhere in the game where I could get a dragon shout. This game is nothing like Skyrim. I kept dying during the tutorial and couldn't even progress on the story difficulty. This game is broken, has no dragon shouts and it takes Einstein levels of IQ to play.

DMs will regularly change the stats of enemies to fit the party on the fly anyways, it's not really the same.
Similar issue I have with things like e.g., 3e/PF weapon focus feat in cRPGs. At tabletop, a DM will alter drops to make sure your weapon focus isn't useless. In a cRPG, unless you've played it before, there's a good chance you may never encounter a single weapon worth using in your focus.
DDO(3.5e-ish homebrew) solved this by simply grouping like weapons(e.g., "Weapon Focus: Slashing"), which feels good enough to me.

I'd be impressed with a cRPG that's smart enough to acknowledge feat choices on player characters and slightly fudge the loot though.

A lot of cRPGs feel like they're designed by people who never actually DM'd a tabletop RPG :M

AFAIK NWN1 had a bigger chance for weapon drops that you had weapon focus in

Should have titled the thing "Review : Pathfucker Cuckmaker" or somesuch. I enjoy the Codex infantile habit of transposing vulgar terms in the titles - it is very expressive indeed. I for one am favorable to something like "Turdfinder Cuntmaker", as it is you must admit very researched in nature. One can be creative here, which is essential.

A shitty milquetoast review, 2 years late, for perhaps the best CRPG ever made. Well done 'Dex. Can someone please retroactively skewer the abomination called DOS2 as well?

They could try and make the 3d models better. POE ones look gorgeous in both 1 and 2. say what you want about poe its a pretty game.

I think Kingmaker looks better than both PoEs, though there's nothing terribly wrong with the latter. :M
I love the spartan, consistent art design of PK, all for a fraction of POE's budget.

Meanwhile Codex had to write a dozen reviews just not to admit Obsidian all loved is gone and RPG Renaissance will never happen.

P:K is a soulless mechanistical attempt at creating a big-world AAA CRPG for profit to feed off grognard nostalgia, Chinese-style. I'm not impressed. And you ("all") dare to compare it to ToEE? Blasphemy, even considering that ToEE itself is no masterpiece, merely a good game, 8/10 or so.

It's not a diamond in the rough, it's a hamburger on-the-go. Eat it and forget it.

I always consume 100h (+at least 50 caused by build porn restartitits) crpgs on the go and them forget them immediately after. That's what I do. That's my thing.

"I set Enemy Difficulty to Weak because that's the closest enemy attributes get to the Rules As Written; Normal has them higher than what they should be."

One of reasons is that monster stats are higher because in table-top RPG you cant save.
Also you can use A.I. weaknesses (enemies attack first target as tank etc.) which no DM will allow you to.

Watch interview with devs, this is explained.

Stop being wimp, easy is easy, is has nothing to do with "Rules As Written". Because monster with same stats will be harder once you cant save and once DM play monster perfectly, unlike A.I.

A DM isn't supposed to play monsters "perfectly" they're supposed to play them in-character. Being able to reload is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned.

I can't imagine playing this on easy, from chapter 2 and onwards hard is mandatory. Enemy stats are inflated to help deal with power-curve, so regardless how butthurt inflated stats make you, they are necessary to the difficulty of Pathfinder.

The kind of autists that like Shitmaker would put Crispy and Crispyㅤ (not sure which one is the true one) as a DM:

Crispy the DM: The Beholder gazes at you for 200 points of damage!
Gregz: <casts Blindness on the Beholder>
Crispy the DM: You think you are funny, Greggypoo? Blind beholder grows a massive penis and strikes you for 3000 points of ass damage!

It's the 21st century, you toilet named retard. Being gay is not really an insult anymore. Liking Shitmaker, however, is. ;)

It's interesting how everyone who likes Shitmaker is named The Stupid or Toiletmaker, or whatever. Not saying there is a direct correlation, but on the other hand...

For the prevalent majority of humanity it still is. Also, about 1/8 of humanity will kill you for such insult without hesitation.
lol, I like how you think Africa and every country in the continent of Asia (with, ironically, possibly the exception of China), blacks in America and everything south of the US border makes up 1/8th of the human population. :M

Look, toiletman: you need to stop getting so butthurt every time I insult Shitmaker. It's like I said something about yo momma.

Yo Shitmaker so dumb, it has a rotating game menu, so you have to wait until it stops rotating before you can click on anything. Trolololol.
