Honestly if I was able to sell some of the games in my steam library I would've done it without second thought since I know I will never get to them or replay them. If I had $5-$10 subscription for them I would've been more satisfied since I really got most of them on a hunch or the thought that I'd be playing them soon but I never did.
On the other hand, I can buy whatever game that I like or know I will %100 play a good chunk of it and never regret that it's part of my catalogue. So yeah this Game Pass thing is really great.

Saying "fuck game as a service" model is the most reasonable thing to do... except I got a feeling that gonna die/switch hobby too soon to care about long term implications, really.
Let them (MS) do whatever the fuck they want with these IPs, games, I don't care as long as I have my indie-games like AoD/Underrail.

There are some speculations or fake news or supposed insider thing around the internet that MS will also acquire SEGA and it will be announced at Tokyo Game Show this week.
If true MS will take not a small potion of JRPG landscape too (Atlus and some classic SEGA RPGs). And Alpha Protocol too of course.
I have my doubts and suspicions about this (I highly doubt MS will take SEGA parent's other business like resort and pachinko. Also doubt SEGA parent will sell only video game business while its other business sectors are struggling amidst the pandemic.)
I'd expect some big partnership at best. (Like previous speculation that MS and SEGA will re-brand Xbox as Dreamcast in Japan, is more plausible imo.)

I not gonna lie.. If Microsoft buying Sega (and by extention Atlus) meant port for SMT/Persona games from ps2 (or even.. P5) era for PC , i i don't think i would disliking that happening.

You have PCSX2 emulator, so why would you EVER wanted to have a port of P3 FES to PC?
