The situation is difficult. If we tell them and one of them betrays us, we're screwed. But if we don't tell them, that may convince them that we're not worth obeying and they may desert us or conspire against us.

Anyway, we need their cooperation if we want to act against Noyedas, and that means we need to tell them about our plans : A

A and B are optional, but C is mandatory.

A) "Please reconsider your decision, Lord Dulsen. The economy of Dullis will be destroyed by such a conflict, even if somehow you manage to win."
B) "You cannot win a war against the two of us, Lord Dulsen, and the King is too busy in the East to help you. By the time he manages to mobilize troops and move into the Western Peninsula, the land will already be united and ready to repel his forces."
C) "Well, it's certainly hard to proceed if the path is obstructed by such a large person, but I wonder how long your stores will last when we lay siege to your castles, seize your roads, and take your crops."
D) Keep quiet.

("none" is a reference to the name of the player's spouse. this line shouldn't be here for unmarried characters, so we just caught a bug. Normally if you side with Noyedas and have a spouse, he takes him/her hostage)

A) "I need you to just stay safe and return to the castle."
B) "I need a good night of sleep. Goodbye."
C)" I need you to kill Lord Noyedas."
D) "I need you."

C - It's risky, but at this point, everything is risky.

If Dulsen had brought a sizable army, then it might have been better to wait until the beginning of the battle and then turn against Noyedas. Unfortunately, he didn't.

Dulsen has a trick on his sleeve, which you find out if you stick with Noyedas until the end.

A) Get ready to fight them.
B) Try to parley with them.

A - Parleying would be suicidal. Hopefully, we'll manage to retreat without having to fight them all. With their lord dead, the army shouldn't remain a major threat for very long.

(Also : if Jenneth managed to survive this and escape without getting caught, she deserves a raise.)

B - I don't think we're getting out of this the violent way. Not without a total defeat.

Let's try doing B because, if it fails, I think it ultimately leads to A.

"She must have acted..." and "You wanted a king..." - I hope that we don't have to sacrifice Jenneth, but it may prove to be necessary.

Ah hell, I don't give tuppence to asking them to avoid conflict. Let's get to deciding.

A) Give myself up to spare my army and my lands.
B) Face the army of Sielccia in the field of battle.
C) Convince them to leave while they can.

C - Their dreams of conquest are already over and they're far from their home. Some of them are probably willing to risk their lives to get revenge against us, but others may be less unreasonable. Even if they were to defeat us now, the fight would weaken them and they would have another army to face shorty afterwards.

A) I reach out to King Jeohr for permission to annex Sielccia into Granwyl.
B) I proceed to name myself Lady of Granwyl and Sielccia by right of conquest.
C) I leave the Rivermen alone to mourn their dead and reestablish themselves on their own.
D) I ravage and loot Sielccia to show them what a mistake it was to were against my people until they are willing to pay me enough to stop.

(Is "is been left" grammatically correct? The revisor changed this whole post-war segment, which was originally written in the past tense, because they thought it would be confusing to the readers or something. It was supposed to serve the purpose of a "time-skipping" epilogue)
