Out of all the 3D Sonic games post Sonic Adventure, I think I actually enjoyed Shadow the Hedgehog the most. I liked the way the three factions (alien invaders, Robotnik and the Earth Defense Force) kept screwing each other over and I got to decide who I wanted to help out.

The route they were going at the time, it's not like I'd get an old-school level dash like in the Genesis days, so I had to look for enjoyment somewhere. And it was actually pretty fun zipping up with some overpowered weapon looted from an enemy, laying waste to the surrounding area and zipping away while everything still breathing is recovering.

So I'm playing through Sonic Generations currently, and it's honestly pretty good. Did anyone else experience random slowdown during the Sky Sanctuary stage? My specs are above the recommended, but for some reason that one stage (and only really that stage) lags like a bitch.

I always thought the platforming in sonic games was retarded, why can't it just be need for speed sonic edition? I'd love that!
