I'd like to make some kind of an RPG recommendation software (but I'm just learning programming, so it might take months) that would be useful for regular Codex users as well as newtards and any other people. Something that would actually be OBJECTIVE and useful for anyone interested in RPGs. The idea is that you put a few (let's say 3) RPGs you liked and generate games to play next based on your personal taste, so you don't need to guess or ask on a forum and get various subjective answers that might or might not hit your tastes, and luck might play a significant role of you not receiving the info about actually the best games there are to play and you would enjoy.
However, to create such software first and foremost I need data. In consequence, here comes this topic. It is simple data, but should be useful.
I ask you to list up to 15 of your favorite RPGs (anything you would consider RPG, doesn't matter if other users would agree) as well as up to 5 most disliked RPGs. Copy-paste the list below and put them in order you like them* or dislike them. 1 is the most favorite or most disliked. Disliked games will be a check to make sure that if few people top favorite a game that is disliked by most it will not get high recommendation.
PLEASE USE FULL GAME NAMES, and expansions are excluded unless stand-alone! Full names are important to limit the same games counted differently. For sequels use ROMAN NUMBERS (II, IV, X), again, not to make duplicate titles. I will try to correct inconsistencies, but the more of them the more likely I will make a mistake or will be overwhelmed.
* - I'm not sure how order will be significant in my software yet though, but just in case. One idea I have is to count given points to top 5 x2, 6-10 x1.5 and 11-15 x1, but that is yet to be considered. Or maybe I will just pick up top 10s and count them all x1. Or I will give some kind of a fluid point system (#1 gets slightly more than #2, #2 than #3 and so on). Maybe I'll do all and the user will have a choice. I'll see what I can do.
