It's the RLM formula. Everybody and their mother has been following this style ever since the Star Wars Plinkett reviews got popular.

I don't think anyone who build a platform on this format is ever going to drop it. Even when a new fad shows up few will find a reason to move on. Channels like Smack Talk seems to be sitting comfortably with a modest following and slow production. I think when this trend runs it's course most will propably settle for that.

I watched this months ago. It's so fucking weak and unfunny, it's kinda sad.

The game has a few issues but it is perfectly fine (also Paolo is funny as fuck, my favorite character in the game) and TBH it barely registers as slavjank. I wonder how he'd react to something like Operation Matriarchy or They're Alive.

Tried to watch it. Civvie is doing the worst "hello fellow SJWs" screed i've seen this side of Red Letter Media, randomly bringing up sexism and racism when it doesn't even make sense (I.E., where not even actual SJWs would say anything).

It's so forced and phony there's no way he isn't doing it to placate that crowd out of self interest. I guess he thinks if he sucks up to them they won't cancel him.

It's interesting you brought this up because I caught that, too, and paused the video to try and figure out what "casual misogyny" he was talking about. I think he's just virtue signalling.
