Jurassic Fantasy has been released on Steam. It's a fairly old school CRPG that you can get for 40% off through April 19th for the low, low price of $0.59US. Dodge dinosaurs to get the Sacred Stone in this open world RPG... With dinosaurs! Since I couldn't find the trailer on [url="https://www.youtube.com"]YouTube, here's what I could find:

Jurassic Fantasy is a top-down survival role playing game. The game takes inspiration from classic RPGs from the 80s and brings some innotative functions and mechanisms.

Set in 832 BC, Jurassic Fantasy follows the story of a young wizard that goes to a mysterious island in order to find the Sacred Stone, an artifact that could save his village from misery and chaos. The island is consider to be fated to doom, as no one, no matter how brave, ever returned from it. As the story follows, the protagonist starts to show the true reasons why he decided to go to this adventure.

Kind of reminds me of the old Ultima games.

First thought this was a straight up port of an ancient game when I saw the screenshots.

I think I'll buy it when I have a bit on time on hand and play that thing - sold enough useless steam cards so that is basically free. It doesn't look to bad (ecxept the fourth screenshot with the water but the rest is okay). Really like the pixel art of the wizard.

I don't usually care about graphics but did they really need to keep the pink and light-blue from emulators? That must be some intense story with that plot twist on this simplistic primitive game. RT but no pause, what's the matter with this game?

So, I bought this game in the Summer Sale. I will write a full on review when I beat it (I died two times as of now).

If anyone else is interested you can get it for almost nothing.
