I'm sure many of you have noticed this already, RPG Planet has recently changed from being a site that updated once or thrice a week to attempting to affect the daily updating style of the newsier sites, ie RPG Codex. And as far as I can tell, this change in direction happened very closely to birth of this here site. Coincidence?

Probably not, since we don't get nearly the traffic a GSI site gets.

I know Kyote pretty well, though. He's a tad lazy on news posting, but he's a decent chap.

One funny thing of note, he posted some news I gave him, and linked it to RPG Codex as the source, right? GSI removed the link because GameSpy Daily had posted the news item before Kyote did. How's that for lame?

Do you mean that GSI removed the link because they had posted the same item before Kyote, or that they control the actual posting process and simply removed the link for an undisclosed reason?

The first one. They left the news item though, and left the words, "RPG Codex" in the item, they just removed the hyperlink.
