Greetings.

Firstly, I'm not sure where to post this but I decided to do it in this section (other forums I've been to sometimes have a section to leave greetings or farewells). Hope this is the correction section.

And, hello. You guys can call me Seraph/Seraf. I am interested in starting my own LPs after reading LP Archive. I heard about this site after looking for a place to post LPs. I've look through a few sites and decided to join this one (the site I originally intended to join actually charges to register). That being said I'm not in a hurry to post anything yet. Gonna observe a few LP threads for now. I hope when I post something in future whoever bothers to drop by would enjoy my content. Thank you.

PS: In case you guys are wondering, the current game I want to do a LP is a romhack of my childhood favourite: Chrono Trigger (said hack is called Schala Editon). Wonder if anyone here played the hack already.

Hey Seraf. You can call me Bester. And you can also call other people by their nicknames, the poser above you can call him Ed. Now that we're all intimately acquainted, how about you post some fucking LPs instead of larping a bronies community.

Hey Bester. Like I said I wanna observe LPs of others for now and their style before posting my own. Will start posting when I'm done with the Screenshots.

And Larping a bronies community? I have zero idea what you're saying and don't do that.

Recently replayed Chrono Trigger myself, and found it way more boring than I remember it.

Maybe this other edition will add some much needed spice. Far too many 16-bit console JRPGS of that era are deemed "classics", but have aged badly and got by hugely on their charm & aesthetics.

Going back through them now, and it's clear to see why I had to get me a PC to play some proper RPGs

Considering this is JRPG, what value the LP would have? I mean, is there a way you could actually play JRPG differently, I.E. no builds, no C&C and such?

The one I'm playing is a romhack that indeed added a little spice. Like slightly more dialogues. You know how the lady selling candy at the fair talk about gossips about the King's daughter (ie Marle)? Talk to her again after that and Marle will complain it's a not a nice thing to say and personally I find the extra detail amusing. Also according to author's txt file, some movesets are revamped and double and triple techs are now powered up to make them more useful than single tech and thus there's more value in using them.

Good question. Yeah I admit there's not many ways to make variance in the gameplay.

However for my LP I'm wondering if I could add some spices to make the audience more interested. EPM from LPArchive did a tally on anything he finds stupid in MMBN4. I guess I'll make a tally for something too? Like any moment that makes any average joe going through the game goes "zOMG!?". Admit it, many of you players are startled by Lavos' Cthulhu scream when you first heard it. zOMG tally? So far I'm recording videos and I'm up to Arris Dome now. I should start making the screenshots and captions soon to post.

Welcome to the Codex I guess. There's too many posters here for introductions to really matter FYI. We don't all know each other. Still, enjoy your time here.
