All your cult of personality bullshit is a lie.

Tim Stellmach was the lead designer on Thief 1 and Thief 2, but he was also the lead designer on Underworld Ascendant. :shittydog:

Everything you think you know is a lie. Everyone you love is a clueless prick.

Moreover!

4. If you think about it, romances in Planescape: Torment are paradigmatically asexual.
5. MCA's alleged asexuality explains his issues with Cook-Cook. And also with Josh Sawyer in general (who - as we all know - has a strong fixation on rape).

So, the real conflict in the cRPG industry is not between wild cocainists and proponents of balance, but rather between rape fantasists and asexuals.

- Designed/wrote computer games almost from the year they became commercially available

- Somehow injected philosophy and moral conundrums into a new form of entertainment where the technical limitations of the time wouldn't allow for anything beyond the scale and complexity of a children's pop-up book

- Pushed the boundaries of mature storytelling to such an extent that a 1:1 modern remake of his Ultima series would be banned or censored in several countries

- Coined the term 'Avatar' to describe a virtual representation of the player

- Owned his own medieval village and jousting field

- Went to space

Mike Watson? He loves Saints Row 2 so much and wants people to experience a good version on PC he's literally spending the last days of his life before he dies of horrific face cancer trying to fix the port.

Just because they're all relatively poor compared to real writers doesn't mean one or two can't stand out. The problem is we don't always know who wrote the best quests in various games - and I think one is being dishonest if they deny that most of the classic games have some well-written quests.

Also, the best writing hasn't always been in the most lauded games. For example, the writer in The Secret World (Funcom's failed modern-day conspiracy theory scenario MMO) was a minor pro, and many of the quests in that game were very well-written, as well as the overall scenario being quite a good tie-together of various classic conspiracy theories (under the constraint of having to have three factions).

His writing may be fascinating, but doesn't it all come from lots of drug use?
Doesn't MOST creativity come from drug use? You tell me if the plot and setting of Mario is just not the creator tripping balls on some magic mushrooms.

Well, what would the Codex say? Which game designers/writers does this :obviously: place rank among the titans of :obviously:
By which standards ? Making a good game, being chad, being nice chap to be around ?
any which you deem worthy :D
Ahhh game devs are sub human losers that are not worth any respect. Miserable deformed little creatures that could only live in fantasy world. The biggest chad is Todd...most likely,he fucks bitches, lies retarded fanboyz and makes shit ton of money from them, also nice chin.

Sooo no i don't respect any devs, they create mediocre culture that couldn't stand the test of time for a few decades, let alone being worth respect.
