Why is this still getting posts when the game is dead for sure?

In other news, they just announced the Sabbat book for V5. Looks terrible.

Oh, I see now, for the lulz.

Wasn't WW killed by the progressive cult though? Who's writing these books now?

The game was briefly mentioned in the recent Paradox Interactive Q&A livestream with their CEO, CFO & Chairman of the Board.
It seems that they haven't given up on Bloodlines 2 because according to data, they believe it will hit expected profit margins.

Swedish CEO's are something else, positively delusional. Despite Hardsuit Labs wasting time and burning their money, despite the delays and bad press, they still believe they can pull this off.

Who are we to say? Maybe their expected profit margins were always six peanuts and a can of Coke.
after paradox worked with feargus all swedish companies were mandated by law to factor 'being swindled' as part of their calculations

Politics and status as part of the lore aren't the issue, since oWoD made it pretty clear that it was vampire politics and vampire status that mattered to the characters - the problem is when dumbfuck leftists replaced those with their social justice drivel. This in turn lead to vampires changing from parasitic abominations in the eyes of God and men, to misunderstood social outcasts that fight the white patriarchy.

Anyone with a shred of brain should understand why WoD vampires could give less of a fuck about gay rights and affirmative action, but apparently rubbing two brain cells together is expecting too much from liberals.

Vampires were much cooler before politics and social status became a huge component of the lore.
Politics and social status have been part of vampire lore since the very beginning, as far as World of Darkness is concerned.

Previously I made a Joke that Hardsuit Labs are a bunch of Virtue Signalling Losers / Fake Devs / ~idea people~
Taking a page out of Roguey 's book I decided to skim their Glassdoor..

Maybe this was already posted? It's new to me so fuck you. :^)

If you read through all these reviews both Pros and Cons.. It starts to become apparent that actually..

The management are clueless, and cannot organize a team. Some managers are slack-jawed and only seem interested in their social media feed.
Constant bad advice and "no, do it this bad way" over-the-shoulder pestering.

Constant forced crunch time. Doing 9-11 hour days without counting in commute on a static monthly pay with no additional benefits is not fun, especially in this environment.

Zero chance to focus on your work with busybodies trying to micromanage every line of code
Zero chance to focus on your work with other busybodies trying to always go on about their perceived differences.

The self-identified "LGBT" people are often nagging at innocent jokes and interrupting co-worker work-related conversations because they feel like they need to inject themselves and their opinion to it. This leads to a divided workplace which the management is unwilling to handle. Constant murmur by management on how they're so "open", "accepting" and "diverse".

Constant undertones in all speech by management about progressive ideas and ideals even when it comes to completely neutral subjects like programming and gameplay design. All additions and suggestions are primarily weighted against the former factors instead of whether or not it would fit the series or be conducive to good gameplay.

This one might be fake?
It's so on the nose.. Date was Nov 2020 though.. pfbfbbf

Studio suffers from not only its own growing pains, but those of its publisher, Paradox Often poor communication High turnover rate Lower pay than larger studios in the area A lot of talk, very little solid decision making

It's all Paradox's fault !

Decisions being made and large changes happening with no warning is harmful to morale and the development cycle. Leadership needs to be strong and transparent, not saying one thing and doing another. Really loved working at this company until recently.

Idea people have lot's of ideas.

How was this game so far behind..? It's a mystery..

If only bullshitting about ideas constantly and changing your mind 40 times a day whilst twitter shit posting could produce finished products.. Oh well..

So, I was browsing their steam forums and it seems that a lot of people haven't even realized that none is developing this game anymore. They must have made a nice profit from this IP, just by selling the hype and forgetting to refund anyone. Pretty slick.

The person doing market research for them must be a rabid Bloodlines fan and is personally vested into getting the sequel released no matter what. That's the only explanation I can come up with.
