Hey he sure seems like a nice guy.

Reportedly, not the only incident he has either. Obviously.

Puritan much ?
It's bad to hit on people in relationships because ?

Talk about "hurt feelngs". This has NOTHING to do with assault, rape, or whatever. Just piling on for dumb puritan americans.

I'll indulge in quoting myself because thanks to cherry blossom giving us a lesson in being good god-abiding people, we found out that Chris had the NERVE to make a sex proposal to someone who was into porn.
Oh the bastard.

This is precisely and exactly slut-shaming. Against Avellone, because most (well it's the Codex) people here don't care about a girl having fun by doing some porn (and I sure don't).

PS: TBH, I quite like Jacqui, I think she's the smart girl in all this. It's sad that she considered she had to pile on Chris to help Karissa, but she's not batshit crazy.

What the fuck is "chud"?

Finno-ugric people historically living around lake Peipus, in the area of modern russo-estonian border. Too extinct (and more importantly, too white) to complain.

This thread is beyond amazing.

I didn't know who James Deen was, but looks like he's also 'popular' * with the ladies:

https://www.cnn.com/2015/12/01/entertainment/james-deen-rape-assault-allegations-feat/index.html

Guess he got cancelled, too, but I'm trying to find the actual details/evidence of shit since this is the whole point of this thread i guess.

Did Jackie ever call Deen out on this shit? Or was she all quiet cuz she liked his D?

* Allegedly likes to rape and abuse them according to CNN

As a reminder, Jackie and Jacqui are two different people.

The former being the girl he was seeing who was Karissa’s friend. The latter being the girl he drunk texted.

Not sure why you guys are thirsting over some buck toothed purple hair nobody, but it’s the codex I guess. *shrug*

Interesting she is so butthurt over a 'flirty' text message that she'll bash the guy nearly a decade later. However, the people who 'raped' her? Complete silence. If she is telling the truth she i allowing actual rapists free to continue raping other women with non consequences. If she is lying, she is fine ruining a man's life over some harmless texts and doesn't have the guts to do that with false rape accusation because if she names them and it turns out false there might actually be consequences.

If you are talking about Jacqui Collins, she used the opportunuty to kick Chris when he is down/contributed to his cancellation with those drunk texts of Chris and apparently didn't call out James Deen's deeds/alleged deeds(?).

What do you mean by "if she is telling the truth/lying..."? What did she say?

Jacqui Collins isn't part of the lawsuit, he didn't name her. Probably because he did do something with her lmao
No, I don't think he did. And it has 100 Does specifically so that names can be added to the lawsuit as needed, but I strongly doubt she will be one of them, because she didn't lie about shit (in this tweet at least). She may have used that story to help paint Chris Avellone as a bad person, but the texts were real, she didn't make up any events, and she barely even exaggerated any of what happened (if at all). At most, she exaggerated her feelings about what happened. Which means any sane, decent lawyer would say "No!" to piling her onto the suit because she didn't do anything actionable and it would just weaken Chris's case to add a defendant who will obviously overcome a libel suit.

I helped put crap in Monomyth
I did some digging on Jacqui's profile and she didn't cancel James Deen when he was accused by rape by one of his ex girlfriends and accused of being too rough by some of his co-stars. According to IMDB, she was in a 2016 porno with Deen (A) which could be why. Someone can verify if she's actually in it, I'm not degenerate enough.

For all I know the allegations against Deen may have delayed its release to May 2016 and it could have been filmed prior.

It is important to note that this is in character with Jacqui. She had nothing to say when her buddy EscoBlades/Andrien Gbingie was accused of rape.

This is probably old news though, David's (and Chris' IIRC) friend mentioned that Jacqui is friends with a lot of abusers.

I mean, I know it's bad that he swung and struck out with a literal whoo're, but on some level I'm happy he avoided getting herpes or whatever by tonguing her box.

In all fairness, I suspect this exchange wasn't the first time
with this sort of third wheeling exit strategy?

Well, this exchange makes much more sense if they have already had a couple of random shags in the past and Chris thought of her as friends with benefits or something.

Either that, or he had read too many PUA self-help books that teach you to behave like you two have already had a couple of random shags in the past as a surefire way to get one.

I believe Avellone is a virgin

I actually believe he has no dick at all, and this will be dramatically revealed at trial if it ever gets that far

I think so too. Jacqui Collins is the only one who is almost certainly not a liar in this story. Of course, it was mean to make those messages public at the exact moment Chris was being attacked. Mean, but no more than that. It may well have been not even conscious meanness, but an unreflected desire to signal virtue.

Also, now that we've figured out the details about Jacqui Collins, I understand much better why Chris interpreted her request for a third wheel exit strategy the way he did.

The big apology the morning after would suggest not. He just thought he had the invitation and was full of liquid courage.

Just because you two had a fling in the past doesn't mean you can't feel like apologizing profusely when your misunderstood spontaneous advance is rejected. Not in 2010s, not in America and not when you are a liberal who fancies himself a gentleman and a nice guy.

She was so deeply offended by it that she gave him the silent treatment and posted it on her facebook with his details edited out the next day with a "Why are men in the gaming industry like this?!?!?!" message. If they had done that kind of thing before, I don't believe the reaction would have been that severe, just an "Ew, no."
