Lol so I wanted to try the multiplayer and it doesn't work because apparently the MP codebase requires some Windows 10 exclusive shit

Fuck off Bethesda

And you're somehow not on Windows 10 yet, but at the same time you also want to play games?
:hmmm:

This is a sourceport of a 20 year old game. Windows XP didn't even exist when it came out. And yet Bethesda made a netcode that requires Windows 10, in a sourceport - it's not even a remake, it's the same fucking game running on the same fucking engine with a wrapper around it to port it to modern OSes. And the game works perfectly fine on Windows 7: it's just the multiplayer that doesn't.

Complete fucking bullshit.

Yes, because the multiplayer uses code and libraries made by Microsoft, it even says so on the loading splash screens...

it needs the Azure Playfab redistributable, although the fact that is Windows 10 only a massive slap in the face. it might be worth hanging on for a patch, but who knows

I'm still waiting for someone to explain why you're not using Windows 10 still. Flagging my posts with cuck and telling me you're not because you're not cucks isn't doing much.

Thanks for the repeated cuck reacts without a single word of explanation. Basically you're a bunch of autists who don't even know why they don't want to upgrade! Can't even get mad at someone this braindead. :D

Can any of you rationalize why you don't want to upgrade to Windows 10?

I don't want to downgrade to Windows 10 because:

- disgusting smartphone-inspired interface, including an in-built store. Like wtf, a STORE inside your OS?? What kind of bullshit is this?
- less backwards compatibility with old games than Windows 7: when I read the Steam forums for old 90s and 00s games that require some tinkering to run, the Windows 10 users always have more problems than the Windows 7 users
- more bloat because for some reason Microsoft keeps adding bloaty shit to their OS that nobody needs (like aforementioned store) rather than just making a lightweight efficient OS
- all that telemetry shit that tracks my user data, fuck off with that bullshit Microsoft doesn't need to know what programs I use and what lesbian foot fetish porn I watch
- forced updates that you can't deactivate, which regularly break stuff... I've read so many articles about how an update broke everyone's shit, like deleting the "My Files" folder (lmao), and there's no way to permanently disable updates like you could in previous Windows versions

This is my computer. I am the one who decides when to update and when not to, not Microsoft. Windows 10 takes away too much user agency and is filled with retarded bloat and spyware that nobody needs.

- You can tweak without installing additional software to look just like Windows 7. The smartphone interface is only there if you're too lazy to spend 10-15 minutes tweaking it.
- I have 1500 Steam games and 200 GOG games. Never had a problem with a single one of them. The theory that games will suddenly have issues on Win 10 is a falsehood.
- Can't honestly say you care about bloat you never see, running on 16 or more gigs of ram.
- "tracking". Sorry, I don't discuss paranoid autism.
- I've been using Win 10 for nearly 4 years, never had an update that broke anything. Again, this is a theory spread by autists.

You know, JarlFrank I hope you don't use a smartphone either, because boy, oh boy, are you going to have a stroke when you see how much you're tracked on both Android and Apple phones. :D

Quite a few classic games have problems on Win10 while running with no issues on Win7, in fact some of GOG releases even don't list Win10 as supported (for a reason). Stop posting bs about something that is common knowledge or verifiable in 30 seconds with google if you're not a gamer yet again:roll:

I have one cause you kinda have to nowadays but I barely use it and leave it at home and switched off unless I need it for communication (meeting arrangement etc) :obviously:

I mean... why would I have it switched on unless I need it for communication? That's the whole point of the thing, it's a phone, you use it for texting and nothing else :M
