It reminds me of the shadowrun games so far. You have small environments or all connected with transitions. There is a thousand things to pick up for crafting, but unless there is a way to break things down, the majority of the time I don't have the stuff to actually make anything.
There seems to be some interesting paths for character development reading the skill trees, we'll see i guess.
Wasn't like they were charging $70 for this, so temper your expecations.

Commissar first impressions:

Art style is... well its not ATOM/Fallout for sure it looks like people in seventies imagined future, its not so awful to prevent you for playing. 5/10

Wokenes: Miniscule so far, There is this female/man/other gender at start shit which is so Seventies mind you but in game so far did not met much degeneracy... sure there is this mixed race pair who make love not war but they are portrayed as pair of worthless drug addict, also this castration quote... Well its written by some broad which literally got mad so I guess its more like making fun of Liberals. 7/10

Game-play is good, plenty of use for picked skills and attributes checks, even wing you choose changes your dialogue and whom you can speak so far best part of game, its in places makes you laugh in other places its scary lot less cultural references to Seventies I would expect which might be good or bad, its nothing great but perfectly serviceable. 8/10

Combat... well its turn based and quite difficult given you are alone in first game chapter so if you not picked at least one combat skill... you can always sneak past most of enemies I guess, I don't know who said the game is to easy died a couple of time then lowered the difficulty after a while cause those four to one engagements. 7/10

Bugs and polish None so far but completed only first chapter of game, its running on my Potato Comp fine on medium and even high... Once again so far and beginning tends to be most well polished and optimized again. 7/10

In conclusion worth picking if you got 20 Kwan Shekels to throw away: :5/5::2/5:/:5/5::5/5:

Looks good, a TB game with tactical combat.

Are Psionics worth it, and can you have a party?

Be aware that the last 1/3 of the game atm is in the state of a modder putting a few gigantic houses in gigantic areas, 1-2 shops and main quest objectives.

Looks interesting, I like the retrofuturism, and it's not like we're drowning in non-fantasy RPGs.

Btw, is it just me that I find ultra-smooth 60fps really offputting, like in this trailer? It reminds me of some amateur footage from PornHub...
I guess one can always cap it to 30 :smug:
