I am already planning to play an Oracle Purifier in a subsequent play through, but are latter acts filled with fire or energy resistant enemies? Am I punching myself in the face by focusing on fire spells?

You take Ascended element and ignore it, but you can't skip the feat really.

There are also ways to convert all damage to a particular type, e.g. braces which turn everything to electricity.

The HoMM is great. All y’all are a bunch of prejudiced miserable fucktards. Make them keep developing into a gem.

A3 is fine, A5 is a boring slog. Your mage does 100kk (not a type) in a 5x5 AoE, yet you keep losing the auto-resolve and have to play it.

Funniest bug ever.
I can't use the ESC button to bring up the menu needed to save or quit the game.

Had that happen often, sometimes you're lucky enough to be able to use the gear icon.

I’m not taking Ascended Element on Purifier. I did that with Waves and Cold on Seeker and ended up just doing Holy damage all the time anyway.

Big Spoilers Question (act 3 lich)

I raise Staunton but he doesn't have mythic abilities, making him much weaker than the other companions. Is this normal?

Still I won't excuse Owlcat since I believe that early game saturation with gays was there simply to secure higher ratings with reviewers.
Why? In my opinion this is the clearest sign what they actually think about all of this Western shit.

Western lol, what a maroon. Ask the wokels how western they are. They hate the West more than you do dumbass.

Well, it's my PC who friendzoned her given that he refused her advances during that ritual. Only a qt succubi is befitting of my PC's affection.
A succubus is an instrument of Chaos. Regardless of your morals, stay on the side of the law, brother.
I wish I could convert her to Lawful Neutral, if not Lawful Evil. But eh, a devil can have his non-LE playthings (and since the PC is not a born devil, it's not like he has the same sort of disgust for demons) and be amused by the succubi's self-denial of her Abyssal nature.

Yeah, none of the raised companions seem to be gaining Mythic Powers, making them inherently worse than other companions (at the start, anyway). Unless the additional Lich powers benefit not just animated dead but the Grave Guards as well, they're never worth taking. Number 3 and 4 are actually pretty solid, though.

I think its by design, as you're probably "supposed" to outfit your merry band with your undead companions and then empower/heal them with your new-found lich skills, but it never seemed worth it to me.

Lich skills give stat buffs, and has unique support spells like "full heal all undead allies" (level 7), but yeah doesn't seem worth the loss of mythic passives.

Wokism is the peak emanation of liberalism (something anthitetic to "eastern" communalism), what are you talking about? Having a freedom to be a socially-recognized deviant is an ultimate form of liberty according to the tenets of Locke and other godfathers of librulism. It's wildly offtopic, but just peruse typical tankie/wumao and SJW/anarcho-whatever (glowies, basically) subreddits / chans etc, the latter group hates collectivism and promotes deviancy while old commies focus on economy and typically agree with current China (and former USSR) policies towards 'brave and stunning' shiny snowflakes

Still haven't managed to find a way to fix my game soft-locking, so I'll just assume it's a general issue with Nocticulas Palace. More and more reports flowing in from people being unable to finish the audience quest with her in Chapter 4 since the patch, so maybe my Chapter 3 Demon Mythic Path is bugging out for a similar reason. Still sucks, so far Demon seems pretty interesting from a narrative PoV. Aru already worrying about my powers and how it might affect her (selfish cunt thinking about herself instead of the greater good, I'll make sure to corrupt her this time around).

I'm not sure if Nocticula is just playing me, but asking me to find and kill Areelu is very different to what happened for my Lich in Chapter 4. She's clearly playing Areela to get the Lexicon to ascend herself, though.

So I'm exploring the demon city but I'm not impressed. The design and visuals are really great but the content itself is kind underwhelming. Despite being part of the abyss the entire place feels like a generic evil city with all the crooks replaced by demons. There is a brothel, but you can fuck high level demoness there. There's a slave market but he slave traders are epic level demon dudes, etc. You run into angry drunks, but these are super high level angry drunks. Same shit, different coat of paint. Reminds me of fighting epic level gnoll spirits in MoTB. One thing that really stands out are low-level demons acting as beggars. Like seriously? They're counting on charity in the place populated almost exclusively by explicitly evil creatures? Why are they even allowed to live like that? If they're too weak to earn a living shouldn't someone just enslave them already?

I think the Lower City inhabitants mostly consist of people that are too weak/dumb to be considered to have value. Essentially, slaves that no one would buy to eat, fuck, torture, or use for work or for killing. Its a city that is as inviting to species from other planes as a city in the abyss can be, so theres plenty of other shenanigans going on. I quite liked the secluded feel of most of the city, compared to the very dense and populated feel of the lower part. The random gangs of demons attacking you at every second corner got annoying really fucking fast, though. But you can tell that it's a city not made for humans, or regular mortals, but for species with teleportation abilities.

I assume PF doesn't have a Bloodwar equivalent?
No. Devils, Daemons and Demons are at odds with each other, as they each represent one part of the Evil Alignment Axis, but there's no open war or anything. They just all mind their own business and try to fuck shit up for certain planes, with Demons being the only ones that want to fuck up everything. Devils and Daemons mostly concern themselves with mortals, not other Outsiders.

Is it really just "marketing" if the game itself is made to pander to journalists?
Yes, it is made to pander to journalists - together with everybody else. To build pornographers, min-maxxers, C&C and reactivity fans, epic dark fantasy enjoyers, and many, many more. Most of them pay money; and there are no angry reviews yet.

Communalism isn't Eastern, China has the lowest trust society on the planet. The Brahmins who offed Damore, Trump, and Flynn are all Caste before bros. They gave a big middle finger to the community they were supposed to be a part of and our treasured norms.

It's easy to blame librulism because hicklibs are showing the whole world their asses right now but at worst it's like AIDS in that it stops the things that could fight the disease rather than the disease itself.

Read Engels - or Hegel. "Negation of the Negation" is how the progress goes.

Engels was a spoiled rich kid. They all are.

There's the problem then, that's how you get "worthless" demons. Can't even use em as cannonfodder.
Its inherent to their creation process. Pathfinder Demons are always created from Larvae of sinful mortal souls that survive the initial "stage" of gestation, i.e. eating each other. D&D demons can be created by the Abyss itself as an extension of the chaos it represents. I guess it could explain why demons are a bit more similar to humans or other mortal races in PF, compared to D&D.

Arushalae actually talks about the first memories she has, as one of the Larvae, iirc.

You're missing the point. Who would ever give them anything? In order to be a beggar they need a bunch of charitable and gullible people who will give them money for free. Save for a couple of people the entire population is made of creatures for are embodiment of not being very charitable or kind to anyone. The population of creatures that are at least neutral is too small to sustain them. Can you imagine a Succubus throwing some coins to a poor starving shitmob? Also they're not that worthless, some of the beggars are these fat little demons that throw poison fog in the HoMM battles.
