That's why you specialize each companion on a different kind of weapon which makes it balanced rather than limiting. One thing I genuinely dislike about this rule set is is how hyper-specialized with ONE single specific weapon it pushes you to be.
Few feats down the line (weapon focus, weapon specialization, improved crit, etc) and you have literally no reason to ever consider any weapon that isn’t your main one.
It’s… limiting.
How does a Arcanist work? Some kind of Pathfinder Psion with mana pool instead of casting from slots?
No shit. Otherwise you’d be trashing 95% of the loot in this game, rather than the current 70%.That's why you specialize each companion on a different kind of weapon which makes it balanced rather than limiting. One thing I genuinely dislike about this rule set is is how hyper-specialized with ONE single specific weapon it pushes you to be.

I have this, but imo it's not that good. A lot of enemies have absurd fortitude saves, or are just immune to being knocked prone. Not to mention that the fire damage per turn will be resisted to nothing by a lot of enemies as well.Oh God I'm already thinking selective Sirocco.
Easier, actually. More and better archers to recruit.I finished Act two without losing a single soldier, I pretty much intend to do the same with act three and I don't think it will be much harder.
Well, every single one person in this thread is already better than you at least in crusade mode. Git gud. There's all kinds of people better at this game than me. Just not the memetards.
Git gud.
I think there is a joke about vancian magic somewhere in her char. She forgets things she doesn't need just like her class magik works. There was a similar try to play this in PST where Mebbeth/Ravel explained to you that wizards mind is an attic full of clutter, and you need to decide what to keep and not.Her quest is top notch, and full of puzzles.
So... She can immediately forget she was shitfaced-drunk but I suppose it's not the same for any other deleterious Int affecting condition, like a poison. Just tell me if this is a plot hole or not, plz.
If you wait he will become a man and save himself.Parabalus
Do I need angel to save Kyado (Cleric in Erastil's Temple?) He dies to the rat curse if I go down there. Or can I help him later if I find the Zandres chick in Ivory Sanctum?
I could save him with Trickster, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Never seen him later on.
wotGod the game is so much better once you get to Chap 3
Being able to choose which problems to tackle is much better (imo) than being forced along a linear path. In CH2 you have a single main objective which is reaching Drezen, all other side paths are optionalwotGod the game is so much better once you get to Chap 3
It seems you get less spells to cast per rest than even specialized wizards. How does a Arcanist work? Some kind of Pathfinder Psion with mana pool instead of casting from slots?
Like 5E wizards which prepare spells like prepared casters and cast like spontaneous and has cool magic exploits. They can get some SLA and some exploits to incrase their spell DC among other things.
It's retarded. You MUST wipe every single peasant ass in every corner in the map personally but also you MUST wait until your army clear the path for you.Being able to choose which problems to tackle is much better (imo) than being forced along a linear path. In CH3 you have four different problems you have to face and you can decide which ones to do first, and I like that
Also I think Sword of Valor's fast healing is bugged, since my MC receives it anywhere on the map
Fairly sure Style Strike doesn't work, at least not for sohei. Never once even SEEN a trip attempt in the combat log.
For some reason the game really really really loves its glaives.

lmao this dude is playing as a furryView attachment 20942
(Tyranny turns enemies friendly. Problem of course is that you cant force attack friendlies.)
You fuck enemy leg after this?lmao this dude is playing as a furryView attachment 20942

Pounce charging master race reporting.

Which is fair enough and all, but using up a level 7 spell slot for 2d6 damage per turn is perhaps not the best idea. Not the worst either, it adds up to quite a lot of total damage per cast. Not to mention that the fire damage per turn will be resisted to nothing by a lot of enemies as well.
Get the mythic feat to ignore fire DR, that's my idea. Notice that I'm still level 10 though and I spent much of my precious gaming time answering a lost cause, yesterday
I am playing arcanist, and I suspect exploiter wizard is better. Prepared spellcasting scales much much better with the mythic feats that increase spell slots. Being able to use transmutation spells on party members is pretty cool though (for the brown fur subclass). How does a Arcanist work? Or just play exploiter wizard, get the exploits etc from arcanist with wizard's spellcasting.
