Kind of a broad question (are you looking for modern or classic games, turn-based or real-time, party or solo etc.). Most of the main go-to ones have already been mentioned though. A few additional suggestions not previously mentioned in this Thread as far as I can see:

- Dead State. Modern setting, party turn-based combat with zombies. There's a Demo available on Steam.
- Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 1 and 2. D20 party, turn-based under the hood but presented in real-time (think Baldur's gate). There's a remake in the works but it might be some years until the remake gets actually released.
- The Technomancer. Relatively short, real-time sci-fi Action-RPG. Includes some time-wasting backtracking but I think it's a pretty gem.
- Albion. Old school party turn-based game with a creative setting (it's sci-fi/fantasy mix akin to Wizardry. If you take a hard stance on your "no medieval fantasy setting" or can't stand ancient graphics feel free to ignore this one).
- Hard West. Western mixed with supernatural setting. Party turn-based. Borders on being a tactical combat turn-based game. Also has a unique chance-to-hit mechanic.
- Troubleshooter. Modern setting, party, turn-based more on the tactical combat side of things and railroady as far as story is concerned but immensely fun if you are a combat and customization fag. Trigger warning: the game has an Anime art style.
