You are not reading what I am saying bre. Master strikes (what you call counters) are removed by the mods described in the modding guide mentioned above, removed altogether, from you and the NPCs. NPCs also perfect block (parry) a lot more often, causing you to defend more on their ripostes.

This game would improve drastically if i could skip phrases in cutscenes .
I loved Cyberpunk 2077 system were i skipped that shit by just spamming ''C'' .
Thanks to KCD - I understood that I can't sit for 10 minutes and watch SFM if it is not porno.

KCD combat is great until you level up combat skills too much, when they are near max it's time to drop the game.

Damn... Daniel Vávra sure is a busy and able man. Here he is at an anti-immigration rally in Finland interviewing people, and with fluent Finnish. Respect

Vanilla damage gain from skills ruins the combat system because you can one shot anyone after a while. These mods adjust the damage gain to be more reasonable.

Really weak strawman there.

can you explain what you meant by this

Stop trying to install mods for Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It is a great game out of the box, just play on Hardcore and choose perks properly (numbskull = on, tapeworm = on).

Installing mods is an emergency process, because they often break stuff, and the effort to get everything running takes out from enjoyment to the point where it can sometimes ruin the whole experience. In some cases, it must be done regardless, because the underlying game has fundamental shortcomings that prevent it from being enjoyable. This is not the case with Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Combat in KCD is shit because, unlike with the block->counter->block->counter exchange, you can't do anything to defend against ripostes, so the only logical thing to do is never attack first. It's literally the same issue For Honor had.
I remember that any decent opponent worth of using combos would typically counter before I can get the third move in, and weaker opponents in which I could pull combos would die by the second hit. I could technically wait until their stamina was down so they couldn't counter, but it was much simpler to rush them, push them back and hit them in the head. Wasted opportunity.

Never heard about this twitter channel, but he seems to do this a lot with movies (comparing photos of movies with the locations they were shot), but this time he went to Sasau with Henry.

Do you mean until you fight 2+ opponents in slightest of elevation if there happens to be any bushes or trees nearby and you start the dance of camera lock between them as each other push the other one into hill or tree or bush or through them?

The combat is functional 1vs1 on a flat terrain like the tournament event of the DLC. Outside of that? Mostly annoying if not a glitchfest.

They still didn't finish the monastery after so many years??
The construction was halted by the Hussite Wars, 17 years after the game's story, and never resumed.
That model of a finished monastery in Karel's office, is this just Warhorse's best guess or did you unearthed actual blueprints or some such?
Not sure but I found this:
Původně tu měla vyrůst pozdně románská bazilika, později byly plány změněny na gotické síňové trojlodí
Po polovině 14. století se stavby ujala huť prvního stavitele pražské katedrály, Matyáše z Arrasu. Tehdy byl změněn plán kostela z baziliky na halové trojlodí.
Meaning: The original plan was to build a late-romanesque basilica which was later (some time after 1350) changed to a 3 section (nave+2aisles) gothic church by Matthias of Arras (the goto guy of the time) who took over.
So this is probably the original

And this is the later plan

As to what extent these model are accurate, I have no idea.

That's our current lead graphics artist. Seeing shit is his job.
Also, coincidentally, he's the person who made the Sassau monastery.
