Describe a game in such a way that it's impossible to guess what it actually is. Others guess.

You have a series of dream revelations after murdering a priest and commiting a terrorist attack. Later you discover that your biological dad was Allah and he wanted you to continue the Jihad.

Mhm. At first I thought it's the 1992 Dune game, but doesn't really fit.

Solutions:
#1: You really don't want to go in the Playhouse.
It's more profitable to go to Hell.

This was Wizardry V.

#5: Use a dragon's heart to power up your magical fortress so you can go beat up faeries.
Apparently this later shipped with a book that wanted to be a game.

And this was Soulbringer.

Your father was a demon, you are a demon, your compadre is a demon, the big baddies are demons. And all because God willed so.

Wrong answer, but I've never played that game, so maybe it also qualifies, wouldn't know.

Assassin's Creed?

Baldur's Gate

To progress the story you have to kill Mulahey (whose class is Cleric) and flood a mine in Cloakwood Forest. Series of dreams point you towards the revelation you receive near the end of the game- your father was the god of murder and he wanted his children to kill all the other ones.

BG: SoD or BG2: ToB?
I can see how you arrived at that conclusion, but no.

Second hint: November has a special place in your heart.
eisenwald?
Does Eisenwald have demons? really?

Third hint: There is precisely one (read:token) Black person in the game, but he's the goodest of them all. You still got to beat him up like there's no tomorrow though.

Baldur's Gate? Your dad is Bhaal, god of murder. You have a series of dreams throughout the game. You attack the trading company owned by Sarevok, which might be counted as domestic terrorism.

Grab the Codex by the pussy Divinity: Original Sin Torment: Tides of Numenera Shadorwun: Hong Kong Pathfinder: Kingmaker Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture
How about this:

A small golden plaque turns out to be way more powerful than 99% of weapons in the game.

Ultima 7. Only way to kill Lord British... except maybe by cannon. Can't remember is that works or not. It's an in-company joke, since one of their plaques or signs did fall in real life and hit Richard Garriott, requiring him to go to the hospital for stitches. And yes, I'm such a nerd I didn't have to look this one up.
