PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
I was reminded by curds about last year's survey, so I went to make a new one.

Just two rules:

1. List the RPGs you replayed in 2021 in one post in the thread. If you remember more RPGs you replayed, don't edit the previous post but make a new one.

2. It's not required that you've finished the RPG, only that you played it during 2021.

My list:
  • Pathfinder: Kingmaker
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Fallout: New Vegas
  • Icewind Dale II . Some single player, later switched to multiplayer with the wife :) through Chapter I. I still want to continue, but there is always housework, and us old people run out of energy by the evening.
  • PoE II: Deadfire. I restarted it so that I run through the DLCs again, but ran out of steam at some point.

Morrowind - replayed the base game, though this is actually the first time I completed the expansions
Fallout: New Vegas - did a pacifist run for a change of pace
The Witcher 1 & 2 - I'll likely replay 3 some time this year
Wizardry 8
Baldur's Gate - haven't completed the replay yet, still haven't dropped it
Dark Souls - ditto

Arx Fatalis (previously uncompleted)
The Witcher 1 (previously uncompleted)
The Witcher 2 (previously uncompleted)
Demon's Souls (previously uncompleted)

Dark Souls 3 (previously uncompleted)

Replayed but not to completion:

Gothic
Gothic 2
Temple of Elemental Evil
Arcanum
Deus Ex

Thanks, AwesomeButton I found it really interesting last year to see which were the games people actually kept coming back to, rather than just what people were completing to clear a backlog or whatever.

Dark Souls - most replayable game ever made
Morrowind - playing it right now
Baldur's Gate
New Vegas
Deus Ex
Pillars of Eternity 2 - due to Magran challenges/Berath blessings and multiclassing, it's very replayable
I played Kingmaker for the first time in 2021, but I'm hella gonna return to it again, many times probably

  • ELEX
  • Risen 1
  • Lands of Lore 1
  • Lands of Lore 2
  • The Witcher 1
  • Pathfinder: Kingmaker

Something about Lands of Lore 2 & 3 speak to me a lot. Always get so nostalgic when I play them--maybe it's Rick Parks artistic influence, maybe it's that sense of what Westwood could have been if they didn't go down the MMO route and die horribly, and the way Lands of Lore 3 feels like it's a project that went off the rails but still could have been something special if it turned out differently or got a sequel. In some ways it's somewhat ahead of its time.

F:NV and VtMB same as almost every year lol. Didn't finish either because it's definitely growing stale since I replayed them so many times now.

Taking this to mean "old games you've revisited" rather than newly released games you've played through more than once.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker
Pillars of Eternity
BG II

Ran out of steam in BG II somewhere during Throne of Bhaal, and in Pillars some time during White March.

Played a few titles, briefly, but not very far. I think I probably played more new and new to me RPGs than replaying ones I've beaten before.
Ironseed
Moraff's Dungeons of the Unforgiven
Reaping the Dungeon

Drakensang and Drakensang: River of Time. that second game is so incredibly beautiful, fun and memorable. don't play the Phileason's Secret addon tho, it will ruin ur experience (they got sacked during development).
