Been a few years since I last played it. I think this might be my best run. Two hours and forty minutes. There was only one 3D special stage that I didn't get a perfect score in (which gives you a life and a continue). Anyone who knows the game knows which one I'm talking about. Barely bothered with any of the checkpoint special stages. Mostly just sped through the game. Also, because I still don't know where most of the giant rings are, I was one power emerald away from failing the run (not becoming Hyper Sonic). If I have to go back after finishing the game, then it's a failed run. That's also why I took so long. Had to waste time searching for giant rings after failing two or three special stages in the second half of the game.

It's actually possible to get all the super emeralds by the end of the second Mushroom Hill Act and blow through the rest of the game as Hyper Sonic.

I assumed you meant with some kind of glitch, but no, there are actually that many super rings in the first S&K level. I think the most I've found there in one playthrough is four. Usually, I find three.

(this whole section of the campaign is a sweet homage to SH4)

This one was a treat. Superb visuals & atmosphere, manages to reactivate HL's weirdness and horror remarkably well.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Before finally trying Witcher 3 for the first time replaying the first one after so many years seemed like a good idea. It was a good choice, since the game is now patched and all the problems have been dealt with. Also, instead of playing english version, I choose my native for comparison. And it felt more natural, considering the author of the books. The investigation quest is excellent, and there is enough optional ones, which have something interesting about them. Overall it's not a very long title, but it respects the player's time and with potions the combat encounters don't take too long. The animation is still wonky as I remember it. But with the modified Aurora engine CDPR managed to build a believable world. The soundtrack uplifts the atmosphere and is excellent on it's own.

and now my first playthrough of DLC1 :D (gotta say that the master levels made me up my game, so the "base" campaign is kinda "easy" for me now). Looking forward to Horde mode, which I hear plays around with arsenal limitations, encouraging new/improvisational play
