Sometimes the game wants you to know that it hates you and you should feel bad. Just roll with it.

So uh that Playful Darkness fight? No.

Another bit of very neat reactivity: Before the Darrazand fight you can invoke the Godclaw if you worship them and you get a buff called Godclaw's Blessing. Doesn't say what it does but everyone in my party grew a pair of wings. Didn't get anything similar on my last playthrough when I chose Nethys, so I suppose it's limited to a few specific deities or it might be Godclaw exclusive even. Anyway, it turns out that deity selection is not just cosmetic if you're not a cleric. Incline!

Fought them this Tuesday.

Yea, Playful Darkness was fun on hard - 82 AC buffed. And heavy Fortification. Definitely want to dispel him if you plan to use martials to kill him. After a couple dispels and Evil Eye he was down 20 AC and lost fear immunity and Foresight, opening him for Shatter Defenses.

Definitely Sosiel was helpful. Touch of Good was +7 AB. Ironically a few moments after defeating him I went to Abyss and got Mythic Rank 5 - which allowed Sosiel to also use Madness Domain - could have had another +7 untyped AB.

Of course, summoned meatbags to keep him occupied are lifesavers.

Is there a way to rest at a Fort with the Shelter built? Without the corruption spreading? I can't seem to find out how. I've two such Forts already, it just doesn't seem to work - and I can't "enter" them neither. Just stay on the icon on the map.

Lmao. Trickster Nocticula fight.
ALL companions spawned in the council room. Too bad it doesn't help much, because everyone gets her unique auro of simping condition. Dogs and Wendu did 95% of the work.

So apparently there's a greatsword called Blood Red Cleaver and absolutely no one knows where to get it. Which makes you wonder how people learned of its existence in the first place.

She drops her crossbow. It ain't half bad. Shame that crossbows are a subpar weapon. And of course, there's another secret ending crystal shard if you use one of the special arrows on her.

Also, you only get to fight her on Trickster and Demon paths. And it's not mandatory if you want to wuss out.

Give Ember the ring of pyromania, mallanders insult + ascendant element fire and she becomes Ignus. Basically solod the eternal guardian, everyone else just kept him away from her. At this point the only reason to take Nenio over her is haste and sirocco, though I have been doing fine without haste so far and phantasmal putrification is also a very good mass disable. Her character is a big plus too because she was psychologically engineered by ex-KGB psyop specialists to elicit as much sympathy as humanly possible.
I did that with Nenio in my previous run. She has access to more fire spells and you can be specialized in both Illusion and Evocation by end of the game. Also wizard metamagic spells are always their base casting time, Ember metamagic spells become full turn cast which means she can only move 5 feet if she wants to use metamagic outside rods.
And you can use all scrolls and they are useful and you can easily get her into Loremaster as her class has nothing useful after lvl 10.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Is having cold weapon always preferable over having say something elemental, like fire damage?

PSA: This guide about recruiting Trever here https://www.altchar.com/guides/how-to-save-trever-in-pathfinder-wrath-of-the-righteous-a7y8b7W82tHV and any other suggesting something similar are not quite correct.

For one, I never had Irabeth tell Sosiel anything. Therefore I never got to talk to Sosiel about what Irabeth told him, because she told him nothing.

The other thing is having to talk to the demon that abducted Trever before doing the Battlebliss quest line. This is patently false: if you talk to the Dire One once Irmangaleth kidnaps you and pass a perception check you recognise Trever, which triggers the start of Sosiel's companion quest in that chapter.

Anyway, fucking christ if there ever was something that could be called "Build Gore" it's Trever. CN Fallen Paladin and Hellknight? Plus Armored Hulk, which is trash? The only thing going for him are his levels in two handed fighter and high STR. Falchions are good weapons for crit fishing I guess. Will try him out at any rate.

Iirc his charisma is also like 10, so he wouldn't even benefit from paladin or his hellknight stuff, even if his alignment wasn't incorrect.

He's ok from a narrative perspective, and I think he could have been a cool inclusion if Sosiel showed up earlier and was a more interesting character. As he is though, meh.

People learned of its existence because there are tools that allow users to find out what items exist in the game's code, the problem is that nobody has any idea if a given item is actually findable in-game (as in, in the Wrath campaign) until someone posts that information.

There a bunch of crazy-powerful items that probably aren't in the game, such as Throne Keeper:

This +5 adamantine full plate mail grants its wearer 10 DR/-, immunity to cold and fire as well as all combat maneuvers.

Pre-included DLC weapons maybe?

Like you would think a hidden companion should be badass, especially considering the guy spent years doing nothing but kill for a living but nope. I'll look if I feel any difference in my party when I swap Greybor out for him.

Pathfinder: Wrath
So I have managed - at last - to listen to the interview of Alexander Mishulin on Owlcat Games stream recorded on December 10, 2021. I have found some interesting bits.

First, regarding the gunslinger and guns. I was wrong thinking that the class was too hard to implement for Owlcat. The reason is - Mishulin does not like guns in the crusade. He thinks that "the knights in shining armour" should not use firearms, that it is out of style. However, he said that in any game by the "Skulls and Shackles" AP the first class to implement would be a gunslinger.

Second, he considers the kingdom management an essential part of Kingmaker. In his own words, "Kingmaker stands on 3 pillars: Pathfinder role system, choices and consequences realized through branching dialogues, and the kingdom management." The kingdom management system went through 7 iterations before its final form, it was the part of the first prototype of the game ("the vertical slice" as he said). He did not talk about Wrath, but I'd dare to think that the Crusade mode was there from the start as well.
So if someone does not like the kingdom management in Kingmaker then you are playing a wrong game. Uninstall it and check what's up with Divinity: Original Sin 3.

Third, Alexander Mishulin graduated from the best Russian university - Moscow State University - as a programmer (though I suspect in his times it was called "applied mathematics"). However, he said that he was not very good at programming, because he did not like debugging. May be it could partially explain Owlcat's attitude to QA.

Fourth, general impression. Mr. Mishulin speaks in English slowly, but his language is very precise. He thinks on the words, but usually finds proper ones. On the contrary, his vis-a-vis who is a 25 yo community manager working on streams just spits out some words which maybe supposed to invoke some emotions, but bear little sense. I guess it might be a generational thing.

Fifth, Owlcat Games work like a proper corporation. During the interview there was a question in the chat about publishing the results of the survey. Mr. Mishulin said not a word about this. The community manager went on for 5 minutes explaining how those results are "boring", and how they want to publish everything, but "our young girls who are other community managers fell asleep reading the results and were able to go through them only because it was their job." Thus, they are sure that no one needs to see them.
I am sure that the core Owlcat audience - the ones who actually can achieve "Sadistic Game Design", for example - will be very glad to go through the numbers. I am also sure that Mr. Mishulin understands that - he is a very intelligent person. However, because all the interactions with gamers are in the hands of "community managers", our opinions are not read by people who actually understand the game, but by zoomers with no ability to process something more complex than a comic book.

In general, a very interesting and thought provoking interview. Even more interesting is that now it is removed from twitch and is not present on their YouTube channel. I have an audio record in an .mp3 file if anyone wants to hear for himself.

Put it up, or send it to me in a PM.

I was on that Twitch stream for just like 30 mins. I was the one that asked about Regil. And I wanted to ask about Silverstep upgrade "Jewelry Centre", but he never answered it. (not blaming him; the man prolly has more stressing things to address)

Also... yes. Alex (not gonna call him Mishu-mishu anymore) is a pretty based dude as far I can tell.
