Sweet, do they stat Moses? Can you kill him and take his robes? What sorts of bonuses do you get from looting the Ten Commandments?
PXuCauK.png

Yes, he has 3 levels in Paladin. Moses' robes don't do anything special, but the Mantle of Elijah grants 5 levels in the Levite Priest class, increasing the wearer's level if they already are.

The Tablets of the Law radiate Magic Circle Against Evil continuously, and within its range it grants a +4 bonus against mind-affecting spells, and all Evil or demon-possessed creatures have to make a DC26 Will save every turn or be struck blind. 60 lbs. total.

Now the issue is that they're in the Ark of the Covenant. Touching it without being a Levite priest who ritually pure forces a DC30 Piety skillcheck or be struck dead by divine lightning. Passing it deals 10d6 damage + 1 for every negative Piety that you have. Trying to destroy the Ark will cause the cherubim on top to come to live, which are CR22 monsters which for starters are immune to antimagic and can throw divine lightning bolts that are DC30 Reflex save or die, 15d6 on save. By strict RAW it also radiates a Magic Circle against Evil, even without the Tablets inside. The Ark also contains the Golden Pot of Mana (creates manna for 60 people at a time, does not refill on Sabbath or on holy days) and the Rod of Aaron, which knows Bestow Affliction, Control Weather, Create Water, Creeping Doom, Plant Growth (on the Rod itself), Polymorph Any Object (itself into a snake), Prayer and Curse Water (except it produces blood, not unholy water). Total weight including artifacts is 440 lbs.

They also added stats for Ramses II (level 20 Paladin/Aristocrat/Master Charioteer multiclass with prestige class) and Cleopatra (21 Charisma, has an automatic increase of two levels around men and Charisma checks can improve it even further).

This is fascinating and possibly a bit sacrilegious on the face of it.

That's pretty much the theme of the entire book. In the campaigning secion of the book it goes into pointers on how to run the game, bust most of it comes down to treating the world and the characters with some gravitas, and don't whip out characters like Joseph to go Dynasty Warriors on a bunch of demons. But at the end they still turn a formative time period of one of the world's major religions into a game, so if this is something that bothers you it won't be your cup of tea. But if it fascinates you even if you're not going run the game, it might be worth a read.

And if you want a look at religion in a similar fashion and be given food for thought on things like redemption, fall from grace, the lengths people will go to for non-romantic love and such things, go give Demon: The Fallen a read. It's the last Old World of Darkness game and has you playing as fallen angels who rebelled against God because their infinite love for humanity made them violate God's command to not reveal themselves to humans. The ensuing war saw the defeat of the rebels who were cast into the Abyss, a place fully deprived of God where they were the only things contained within. Ten thousand years of "hell is other people" saw the Fallen consumed by their torment, when one day the Abyss started to show cracks and the least powerful of the Fallen slipped through. They found that they could no longer exist by themselves and were drawn into humans whose souls were eroded away by a life of abuse or mental duress, and unintentionally "evicted" the human soul to wherever they go to and took over their bodies, memories and lives. The Fallen made ready for war, only to find a world deprived of the presence of God and the celestial host, but also the absense of Lucifer, who started the entire rebellion only to not end up getting locked away with the rest of the rebels. Now in a broken world deprived of God and the devil, it's up to the Fallen what they will make of this world, or have those broken by their torment try to destroy they gave everything for without reward.

How can Moses, lived 1391–1271 BCE, be wearing robes from someone that wasn't alive yet? Elijah didn't live until 900-849 BCE. So many errors...

Must've messed up somewhere, but Moses didn't own the Mantle of Elijah. That's just a different item.

Yeah, it wouldn't make a lot of sense for Moses to be only lvl. 2 priest.

Please don't besmirch the entire medium because of the works of Green Ronin. Here's their description from the helpful TTRPG Guide to Woke Companies:
Green Ronin (Blue Rose, Song of Ice and Fire RPG, Dragon Age RPG) - Chris Pramas is a self described member of ANTIFA Link (see his bio on twitter), has a vitriolic hatred for white people, and his products reflect this. Publishes "Blue Rose", the gay RPG. Proto SJWs, they were making political statements in their games before anyone else was.

Also, women barely play PnP RPGs. A realistic percentage is 5% (obviously Codex Chads attract way more women to their games). Computer RPGs are something, I'd believe a 15-20% percentage of frontholers playing, particularly currently retarded and declined games, probably reaching 80% if we include transwomen (dudes with wigs).

How about that spell Elijah used to slaughter the kids who mocked his bald, is it in the book?
Summon Nature's Ally is in the core book. Elisha (NOT Elijah) can cast spells like a Levite Priest up to 5th level, and it's specifically noted that by calling upon the LORD Levite Priests can cast spells normally not on their spell list. This means that Elisha can call upon the LORD to cast Summon Nature's Ally V, then choose to summon 1d3 creatures from the Summon Nature's Ally IV list, resulting in two brown bears coming out of the woods and mauling fourty-two kids (2 Kings 2 23:24).

I applaud the inclusion of small-sized Aasimar. Otherwise: massive decline, the fuckers are butchering the game. Why even bother picking a race if they are all identical?

all PCs get to add either a +2 and a +1 to two ability scores (no combining them, no raising a score past 20), or a set of +1, +1, +1 modifiers (same restrictions).

Remind me what the point of non-variant human was in 5E again?

5E's race mechanics were horrible, in large part due to bonded accuracy and ability score generation. Some races were just flat out unplayable because no class agreed with their distribution, or only had one class that they were good at (Dwarf picks between a: cleric b:a class that wastes its profiencies by giving them anyways or c: a class that doesn't want them because it doesn't need weapons/armor). This however is not the overhaul it needed.

Really, the easier, less destructive, and better way would be to overhaul ability generation. Make it so you hit the cap with point buy and racial mods that would push you above the cap are wasted. This forces PCs to be more balanced in attribute distribution (either by spending the points they would have maxed their stat with elsewhere, or using a race's boost to improve a secondary stat) and less "anti-social retard who hits really hard and takes a lot of hits" crap. Add to this a small rules change of "If a character receives a weapon proficiency they already got through race, they may gain proficiency with a different weapon or tool of their choice. If a character would get armor proficiency they already already have through race, they get the next step up" (it's a common house rule anyways). This way it's a simple matter of saying "new point buy" instead of errating every single player race.

I never said it would make 5E good, just that it would be better than what 5E has now and better than what they're trying.

Most 5E races are unplayably bad due to bonded accuracy screwing any race/class combo that doesn't get a +1 to its main ability score and complete lack of caveats for redundency makes weapon/armor proficiency generally worthless as a racial ability. That's not even getting into things like clear favoring of some race resulting in it being overtuned, or the sheer overvaluing of non-scaling natural weapons.

What I find most ridiculous here is how these changes are going to only affect PCs. Now there is an illogical dissonance between NPCs and players that will make it even more obvious this is a game.
