Consider posting your development progress here. Not only is the RPGcodex an extremely discerning audience that can help you finetune some things, but it never hurts to build a fanbase early.

That being said, the codex is the codex, so be aware of some things.

I love the style, the detail, the lighting, it's great. I would suggest only one thing: the player character seems to blend in with the background a bit, maybe making his colors slightly lighter would prevent that.

Serpent is far more sophisticated of a game than what I've cooked up. It was a learning experience for me, a first attempt at making a relatively large game. I've managed to get all the seemingly banal things to work such as inventory, saving and loading, rudimentary turn-based combat, enemy A"I". With the the project I'm currently working on I hope to take what I've learned and make something presentable.

That gloomy "monochrome" style of using colors reminds me of 8-bit isometric games for some reason.
