PlayStation 1-Exclusive Adventure Aconcagua is currently being translated by Hilltop. Game features English voices to begin with, but has never been released in English for some reason. There's multiple charachters to switch between, but game seems to be light on puzzles, focusing on a cinematic experience instead. That's from checking out 10 seconds of a gameplay video though, so don't take that too seriously.

But for mobile only.
Not surprising, and not even the first Japanese game that got this kind of treatment. One of the JB Harold games got the same treatment, remade and in English on mobile platforms. Seems whoever greenlights these things never considers that westerners usually play these games on PCs.

A wild new AGG video appears, after a 3-month hiatus.

I really like this guy's channel, it's extremely silly but pretty wholesome, his opinions are good, his commentary is always entertaining. I've always considered adventures this very chill genre, and his channel embodies this feel quite well.

I played through this earlier in the year. It's not the most puzzle dense adventure game out, but there are still many puzzles to solve in each section as the primary means of progression, there's also a character switching mechanic where you need to use each team members unique abilities (sometimes in tandem) to find solutions. It's a fun game and the story is dumb action movie fun as well.

I swear gog is reading rpgaddict and then looking at abandonware for games to sell.
"Aha! A game the CRPGAddict gave a mediocre rating to! I shall make millions! MUAHAHAHAH!"
They probably bought all of Softdisk's library ages ago and they're trying to sort out the rights issues with the individual developers of the ones that weren't works for hire.

I don't understand Kickstarters. The game needs just $2,034 to get made or what? If the developers believe in the project so much, then take out a business loan or something. The whole crowdfunding model just seems shady.
Despite competent art, everything else about this kickstarter is utter prosperness.
Also:
No puzzles! You won't find puzzles in this game but only adventure, varied landscapes and funny encounters. So you won't be stuck in a puzzle as is so often the case in many adventure games!

So, a walking simulator in the adventure game style. eh.. you need some puzzles even easy puzzles. I loved Kyrandia and yeah, those forests I wish were even bigger and had more to explore and ... MORE PUZZLES and secrets and hidden shit not needed for the quest. Dunno about t his game... I'll look at youtube if any more videos pop up.
