And if you don't? I used to be interested but then I got disillusioned with this bloated mess of an IP, its shitty decades old rules, and its toxic fandom. I'm sick of that shit. Does this video game offer anything of value to anyone who isn't a nostalgic brand-loyal consumer zombie?

I'm here for any emulation of Troika's writing, not pages and pages of fanfiction that fans mindlessly worship as "lore" as though sheer word count is synonymous with quality. I don't give a fuck about lore, especially not when it's used as a substitute for good writing to milk money from nostalgia zombies. Write fun engaging stories. Stop using "lore" and "brand name" as a crutch when you can't actually produce anything of enduring substance.

First impressions were that they made the game as a joke, but then you slowly realize that they were serious. This is a sign that publicly releasing engines so that anyone can make a game was a mistake.
