    It was a lot better in the sense of puzzles and dialog, not as good when it comes to combat and character building. So it mainly depends what you are looking for. But still no game is as close to a real dnd session as the original gold box game. I mean a real old session playing a module not modern larp faggotry.

    I think you are misremembering. Dungeons were huge and took forever to clear and you often got trapped in them, plus a lot of secret stuff to find.
