If you're really concerned about display clarity I would recommend you up the price to €300 and get a 27" IPS 4k (something like LG 27UL500-W). Futureproof + scales the native 1080p much better than 1440p.

If you're wondering why I'm advocating 27" so much - I look at a screen 8+ hours every single day and I think it's the best possible size when you're sitting at a desk. 24" is slightly too small (although it looks better at 1080p), while 32" is too large. 27" is just perfect.

1440p@27 looks better than both 1080p@24 and 1080p@27, but I've heard it scales likes shit.
