It only scored a 5.6/10 from them, which is the lowest score they've ever posted for a PC title.

The bad part about Harbinger's classes, characters, and combat is that they are all poorly balanced, making combat quickly become stale. Your either breezing your way through hordes of enemies, or barely escaping the death of your avatar, never facing an equally challenging foe. Enemies were also supposed to be effected by certain attacks, and not others. However, this system appears to be inconsistent with itself since I noticed numerous times that attacks of the same type did outrageously different amounts of damage. Now, attack balance is one of the many features of Harbinger that I was thoroughly unimpressed with. For example, the culibine's ranged attack is practically worthless, so it becomes nearly impossible to go without using the radial attack. This leads to immense frustration because the culibine is physically weak and only a few up-close shots from an enemy will cause the avatar to die. Some weapons however, such as those held by the human, can be upgraded to the point where nearly every enemy can be easily taken down in a few shots, including the supposedly "tough" end bosses.

The problem with the human is that he's weak as hell to start off with, though.
