Well, from the brief glimpses, it looks as though the action side is pretty well covered. If the pausing doesn't fuck with that side of things it should be a blast. If the non combat portions stand up then this could be a great game. On the other hand, if it's weak in either department it will just join the ranks of so many other games, in being being bland and disinteresting. If it's weak in both departments it will probably still be better than any shite Bioware can churn out.

It's just as hard to judge the quality of a game from its trailer as it is with the movie equivalent, if not more so. Looks pretty nice though.

Oh, I'm far from sold on it. I've gotta agree with you on the visuals though. Sprite animations are so very limiting, and nicely tweened 3D anims put them to shame. But as we all well know, that's not what makes the game.

Looks like the IE, but better.

Marketing always pull the same tricks. Hordes of monsters, ooh! They sure try to play the Diablo card.

Yeah, this one is much better. The last one reminded me of a flash animation, since most of it consisted of portraits marching across the media player.

I think I would have gone with a Bible verse instead of Nostrodamas as well, given the whole Church bit to the story, holy relics et al.
