<A href="http://www.spidweb.com">Spiderweb Software</a> has announced the <a href="http://www.spiderwebsoftware.com/misc/Sale/sale.html">April Sadness Sale</a>, which means if you buy anything this month from them, you get a <b>10% discount</b> on your purchases! Well, <b>Jeff Vogel</b> says it better with this:
<br>
<br>
<blockquote>April is the cruelest month.
<br>
<br>
That is what T.S. Eliot said, in some poem somewhere.
<br>
<br>
Now, we don't know what he meant by that. We are simple people at Spiderweb Software. We only really understand one thing: writing cool games in which you track down evil monsters, beat them like rugs, and take their stuff.
<br>
<br>
But T.S. Eliot was smarter than we are. So if he said it, it's good enough for us. That's why, for the entire cruel month of April, all of our games are ten percent off. Geneforge. Avernum Three, Two, and One. Nethergate. The Exile series. All the rest. All on the cheap.
<br>
<br>
So grab one of our free demos. They're big, and they'll let you know what you're getting into. And when you're ready, it's easy to order securely online.
<br>
<br>
Oh, and this offer isn't valid with any other offers or discounts. Be nice to us.
<br>
<br>
- <i>Jeff Vogel</i></blockquote>

I'd rather he said this sale was in honor of my upcoming birthday, but what the hell. A discount is a discount. Now go buy them all.

Given the amount of Geneforge advocacy in your posts, I'd be surprised if they don't do something in your honor when Geneforge 2 comes out.

I'm sure it is, the whole April Sadness Sale (ASS) is probably a big cover up :)

They are already doing April Sadness thingy in Saint's honor :lol: The next step would be a character in GF2. He would probably be a wise sage called St Proverbius who has a strong and distinctive opinion on shapers, serviles, etc and is known for his sarcastic remarks. It's rumored that in the days of old he even battled the old Feargus himself, the feared high ranking Guardian. :shock:

Some people would even say that St. Proverbius cut off Feargus' hand with a lightsaber, thus claiming the-ring-to-rule-them-all that Feargus intended to rule all Fallout fanbase with, but that would be just empty speculations :lol:

Jeff Vogel seems fairly reclusive. He probably barely knows I exist, other than when I badger him for something, or tell him about something.

Wow, Avernum 1-3 is only $49.50 now, down 50 cents!

Anyways, Spiderweb doesn't need to cut prices to get my gaming dollar. This does bring to mind worries that sales aren't as good as they ought to be.

I think the funniest word in context of a dialect is the common American use of the word "freedom" - We're free because our government says we are and we follow them without question.

I think "individual" in the context of persona is a much more interesting term.
