Harbinger takes another pounding, this time from Entertainment Depot. In their review, which got an overall score of 4/10 - poor, the game got kudos for the graphics, sound, and control, but got utterly spanked on gameplay. In fact, here's the intro to the gameplay section:

Gameplay: 3/10

The "Diablo-style" gameplay concept is wonderfully simple. Take a guy, walk him around, kill things, and then pick up stuff those things drop. If you can use it to kill things better, equip and continue. If you can't, sell it. The tricky part is balancing the finding, selling, and killing so that each is rewarding in its own right. Unfortunately, Harbinger gets all three wrong, something which in and of itself is an impressive design blunder.

Definitely awe-inspiring. Hopefully Silverback has actually learned from these mistakes since they seemed to make all of them their first time up to bat.
