I just keep wondering what the hell it has to do with Fallout...

Agreed. Post Apocalyptic clothing has absolutely no place in Fallout 3, and I - frankly - am quite pleased that FO3 was canceled before it was able to tarnish the good name of Fallout.

I don't remember any leathered-up cops in either of the Fallouts. Maaayybe that model could fit in NCR, but otherwise somebody needs to explain to me how this guy is post-apocalyptic. Because he has a gas mask? The shoulder-pad? Otherwise he just looks like he belongs in a CHiPs CRPG...

Have you seen Mad Max 1/2/3? The movies that much of FO uses directly for inspiration? The character model looks like it was ripped off the screen. I am sure its not finished either, it would have prolly looked more rugged by the time they were done. I think it would have been spot on for a motorcycle gang member.

BTW, does everything in a FO3 have to have been in FO 1/2?

Actually, he looks like any one in a leather jacket from FO and FO2 (except with two sleeves instead of one), except he's got a helmet and a resperator/gasmask. Jeesh isn't it obvious?

Yeah. I get the intention; I just don't approve of the execution. People were already making the Village people reference. I'm just not impressed with this model.

Also FO3 was a sequel, hence time moved forward and things got just that much better. Not hard to believe leather jackets would have two sleeves instead of one in FO's future. :P

And it looks NOTHING like the cop in Village People with the exception of the helmet. But then I guess we should call ALL motorcycle cops wearing helmets like that 'the guy from the Village People'. :?

Too much mad max for me. Your char looking like Max with the leather, and the dog, and the shotgun were enough for me. Im trying to think if there were any other refrences to Max, were there?

What motorcycles?

It was more than hinted that a motorcycle would be one of tha available vechicles to drive in FO3 (ala car in Fo2)

Not sure about enemies, maybe they had some idea for a town run by a biker gang.

Too much mad max for me.

Would you prefer more aliens and elves?

Fo is one big Mad Max reference, direct or indirect.

Keep in mind that it is unfinshed, and zoomed in on much more than you would ever normally see it at. BTW, thanks for posting those pictures :D

We get too many elves as it is (damn tree huggers), and aliens, Jesus, all they do is take jobs away from the hardworking classes like us.

What I mean is I'd like to see some more originality with the next one around, like the first one. Hell, I don't remember mutants in the Max series, nor do I remember a bad guy character that could be talked out of madness.

The road warrior had a bad guy that was "reasonable".

Tho no mutants like FO in any Madmax film. They have freakishly big and messed up dudes in them tho (A la "blaster" from thunderdome, or the leader in Roadwarrios)

Refresh my memory.. Which Mad Max was it that had the Supermutants in it? Which Fallout game had the gay biker gangs? Which Fallout game had the gas powered, supercharged V8 interceptor?

There were some Mad Max references in the original Fallout, such as the Dogmeat thing and the leather jacket look - but that's about it. That's like saying Fallout is one big War Games reference because the old crazy guy in The Hub walked around saying, "How about a game of Global Thermonuclear War?"

Well, that's real nice but there aren't enough motorcycles around, nor is there fuel for them. Given how few fusion-powered vehicles were produced before the war, the odds of a gang finding enough of the things for each member is ridiculously improbable.

Finding one bike as a PC vehicle is a good idea, though.

The thing which pisses me off the most about some Fallout Fans is the fact they say “OMG If its not in Falout 1 or 2 then it shoudn’t be called Fallout 3!111”. Damn it if everyone designed sequels like that then they would all suck ass even more. Some people just suck at design ideas and improvements.

Well, I think so many of the departures that we're forced to swallow are usually either too extreme, are in conflict with what's previously been established within the setting, or are usually just plain nonsense.

I don't mind Mr. Motorcycle Cop myself, though.
