I remember this game from another thread, it sounds very pretentious like all those games hipsters won't stop talking about.

Well, this concludes the short period of time in which I will be giving this game any of my attention.

So, is there anyone around here playing it?
On their friend's iPad, hopefully.
Seriously, big devs should learn from indies like these how to create nice trailers. Also, best art direction I've seen in a long time.
Eh, I like the pixel art but it really clashes with the post-processing effects. If you're going for 8-bit don't throw in special effects, it looks inconsistent.

If this ever gets ported to the DS I might look into it again.

Is there any way of playing these Iphone, Ipad, whatever games in a PC? Any sort of emulator?

It's out on the pc, in case anyone remembers this game. Here's some gameplay footage:

I'm gonna give it a go in a few hours, it looks quite interesting, and it managed to grab my attention.

The fucking fuck? After watching that video I have to ask, what of its gameplay is supposed to resemble Quest for Glory in any way? You must be referring to the combat, seeing as how the enemy sits diagonally above and right of your character, which kinda makes you think of QfG's... except that it's nothing like QfG's combat at all. In those games you could hit opponents even when they weren't attacking you first because, you know, the Hero has legs to move.

As far as I've seen the gameplay is pretty much like Quest for Glory

Or maybe it was the linear corridors you're forced to travel to your destination. Or was it the 2D, left and right movement options? The lack of dialog menus? The non-existant character sheet and skills progression system? Really, I'm curious.

Looks nice but I don't see anything appealing about the game mechanics and encounter design.

The game's quite okay, ehh. The soundtrack is the one thing that really stands out, hot damn that's one fine soundtrack. The game just really feels like a pleasant adventure-ish explorer, with a few gimmicks behind its back, and that's it. I haven't finished it yet though, so who knows. So far it's an okay game.

It's a short game. 3-4 hours maybe.
Combat is an Iphone minigame. Controls are a bit tedious, but OK. And I don't like it when it tries to be humorous. But it has a great soundtrack and some scenes that make good wallpapers.

Looks like another pretentious indie with nonexistent gameplay. Too bad, because graphics look really nice.
