BoltGames has posted another preview of Harbinger, the sci-fi hack and slash game aboard that large space ship thing. Here's a snip:

Harbinger will be a single player only game. What sets this one apart from others is the way the story unfolds. Depending on the character you choose, the story will unfold a bit differently. You will be able to select from three characters: A human (a fast shooting mercenary), the gladiator (a huge robot infused with a being), and the culibine (alien being with telekinetic powers). Each character has their own unique weapons and powers. My favorite addition is the third group of weapons that are unique to the character chosen. For example, the gladiator can control a wide range of remote controlled cameras that can move around the ship and attack with their own weapons, while you wait in a safe place. The best part is that even if you kill all the enemies in the area with your camera, your character still levels up

This is most likely what will be the game's strong point, the nifty trinkets you can use throughout the game to dispatch the enemies and how they vary from class to class. Then again, maybe I'm just partial to large robots with long range killng potential.
