On rpol.net, the pbp roleplaying game site I frequent, there is this nifty feature where you can pm someone within a thread. This prvate message is viewable only to the sender, the recipient and moderators.

I feel the codex should have this feature as well.

Discuss!!

I'm not certain what this feature actually is. Maybe if you posted screenshots from this pbp forum of yours it might make sense.

Better yet, why don't upgrade to phpBB 3 and enable Jabber-based PM.

Not positive, but to do that all sites hosted under sorcerer net would all then have to go to phpBB 3. That's quite a few sites.

Yes what Drog said. FOr instance if I made the following pm:

[Private: DarkUnderlord] Hello! [/Private]

then that message would only be viewable by DarkUnderlord and me.

The feature would allow the sender to add as many recipients as he wishes.
