For all of you who would like to do a service for classic games, Abandonia seems to have a system set-up where they try to have a game reviewed before they post the game for public download.
From their site:
"So you want to write for Abandonia? Thank you in advance! Reviews are the most difficult material to get when we want to add games to Abandonia.
Whatever the reason why you want to review a game for Abandonia, there are two other things you need: first and foremost the game must be approved as abandoned; and we'll need the game itself. If a game that you want to review is approved and you don't have it, we might have an archive in our stash, or we can try to find it. If we consider a game approved, any source is acceptable to get an archive from.
How do you know if a game is approved? The requests board. Use the forum search function to find titles. If it's in the "approved requests" child board, it can be added (and we don't have it yet). If a title is on the mother requests board, we're still working on determining its status. If we don't have the title at all yet, either in the requests boards or on the website itself, post a new thread over there to ask if it can be approved (one thread per game, the title must be that of the game literally). Consider that Abandonia deals with games at least 10 years old, although this isn't the only requirement (you can read about all our rules in the sticky post of the board)."

I followed their directions and went to the Approved Games thread. They currently have 50 pages of approved games to be reviewed. All of those games need to be reviewed before they'll be posted on Abandonia.
So do a public service and help out. There are some decent RPGs on that list, too. If no one covers Aethra Chronicles and the Magic Candles by the time I get to them later in the year, I'll do them myself, though I know others have played it here and can probably do a good review right away.
Some other games of note that stuck out to me:
Blade Runner
Wizardry Gold
Wizardry IV
Wizardry V
Wing Commander 1: Deluxe Edition
Wing Commander 1: Secret Missions Expansion
Wing Commander 1: Secret Missions 2 Expansion
Wing Commander Privateer: Righteous Fire Expansion
Kingmaker
Sword of Aragon
Warhammer 40k- Chaos Gate
Knights of Xentar
Tunnels and Trolls
Star Command
Magic Candle 2
Magic Candle 3
Moria
Commander Keen 1
Commander Keen 3.5
Birthright: Gorgon's Alliance
Shadow Warrior (Shareware version, I believe)
Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV
Pax Imperia
Wheel of Time
The Kroz Games
Ultima 1
Ultima 2
Ultima 3
Spacewar
Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective 1
Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective 2
Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective 3
MechCommander
MechCommander Gold
MechCommander 2
Yendorian Tales Book 1: Chapter 1
Yendorian Tales Book 1: Chapter 2
Cybermage
Spelljammer
Darksun
Sentinel Worlds 1
Temple of Apshai Trilogy
MetalTech- Earthsiege
Pool of Radiance (I probably will get this one)
Curse of the Azure Bonds (I might do this one, too)
Castle of the Winds
Ys 1
Ys 2
Spacehulk
etc...
If a game is no longer considered abandoned, Abandonia does a great job of removing the download from site and linking GOG or another website.
