In the Roleplaying Game of the Year category, the only PC game is CD Projekt's <a href=http://www.thewitcher.com>The Witcher</a> and the only other non-jRPG is BioWare's <a href=http://masseffect.bioware.com/>Mass Effect</a>. Other nominees are Eternal Sonata, Jeanne d'Arc and Rogue Galaxy.

General Academy voting will begin on January 18, 2008 with the Award winners announced at the Interactive Achievement Awards ceremony on February 7, 2008, at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.

It's still better than giving Innovation award to Halo 3, as they did in Edge :roll:

MotB isn't getting the recognition it deserves it seems. The good thing is that at least no emo jRPG will win this unlike on gamespot. The awards are heavily biased towards nonjapanese developers when I look at the past winners list.

I think ME is more likely to win than TW, though.

I also think that ME will most likely win since they also seem to be preferring shooters. ME is the "shootiest" (to quote DOW flash gitz) out of the RPG nominees.
