Yeah I don't think Harvey Smith has any emotional investment in Arx 2. Also a subterranean game would be too restricting.

He's a passionate writer so I guess it will be a new IP.

There's no doubt in my mind that we'll get Prey 2 eventually now that Human Head is under Zenimax soon to be Microsoft, but it ain't gonna be called "Prey" anything. More people associate Prey with the 2017 game than the original... Unless it's some sort of collaboration with Arkane and it goes full immersive sim.

A sequel to the original Prey would be cool, but I don't see it happening. It wasn't that popular, and too much time has passed.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Omen, a vampire immersive sim.
You know what, Arkane are best choice to make Bloodlines 2.
Dinga Bakaba is a huge fan of Bloodlines, and has indicated Lyon will be working on a licensed game after Deathloop (although, even if that's the case, it's probably another Lucasfilm + Bethesda deal)
there were rumours about action-adventure based on The Mandalorian tv series.
Dinga Bakaba also said he wanted to make a game based on Frank Herbert's Dune, though it is a bit too late to start development on that one if they wanted to make a movie tie-in.
