We’re just a few months away from the launch of Obsidian Entertainment’s first-person fantasy RPG, Avowed, and everyone at the studio couldn’t be more thrilled to invite players to experience the mystery and allure of the Living Lands.

Arriving on February 18, 2025, Avowed brings you to a previously unseen region from the unforgettable world of Eora, first introduced in the award-winning Pillars of Eternity. In your role as envoy, alongside your companions, you’ll uncover hidden truths and navigate delicate situations, where every choice shapes the fate of the land and the people living here.

Eager to start your adventure early? Great news—pre-order the Avowed Premium Edition on Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app on Windows, Battle.net, or Steam, and you’ll get up to five days early access starting on February 13. To explore and try new ways to meet players where they are, Avowed will also be made available for pre-order and purchase on Battle.net, Blizzard’s PC platform.

In addition, players with a Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass membership will be able to play Avowed on Battle.net by linking their Xbox and Battle.net accounts. Whether you’re playing on Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app on Windows, Battle.net, Steam, cloud, or on day one with Xbox Game Pass, get ready to dive into a world where you play your way.

Wow, that really is great news! It's the greatest news since the invention of news!

I'm going to buy it on all these platforms! Twice! In fact, let's do it right now! Why don't you come with me so we can get my wallet, Obsidian? I left it behind EA's shed.

Was that trailer always unlisted? Wondering if they just forgot to list it or if they did that as a response to all the negativity in the comments.

It's so bad that even the normies nuked the like/dislike ratio. That's sad.
You aren't kidding.

Also the video is currently delisted. Are they trying to hide this or was it always delisted?

I have little knowledge about this game,
Be real with me doc, how bad it is?
Judging by the trailer, the military, and the leadership of all factions are made up of 61% stronk black lesbians (except for the High Queen, who is a bisexual blonde white woman), 51% of all characters in general are homosexual, everyone is written as (and by) an illiterate blue haired Commiefornian, and current year deranged political messaging is hamfistedly forced in everywhere.
Oh, and the big boss bad guy is a stand in for Dolan J Drumph.

I'm judging this purely on the video thumbnail, only an idiot would need more than that to come to a fair conclusion on this game.

I'm gonna guess this is the group of friends that you're going to be forced to adventure with in this travesty. I see danger hair on the left, looks to be some kinda unbinary gnome which is antisemitic. I will be faxing this to the ADL tonight after work. Then second from the left is a eunuch covered in body paint wearing a potato sack. Third from the left is the diversity black woman that every game requires now. Actually, she might be two black kids trying to sneak into an R rated movie judging by the length of her torso and the stubby legs. Then they gave the dwarf a bow - another hate crime.

I rate this game :0/5: and will be rating purchasers of this product with the :retarded: button as you deserve.

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut
4k views in 7 days, holy crap this game is gonna bomb so so hard. Again, just a case of clueless devs. The ONLY thing their Pillars IP had which was even remotely interesting was the gloomy setting coupled with somebody like Durance. And what did they do? Color it up like a fucking faggot parade. Wonderful!

Oooof. Not only did this game get designed before BG3 and is getting released after BG3, but its marketing got designed before Veilguard and is getting released after Veilguard. Double unlucky there, Obsidian.
Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon, another Skyrim 2 presenting game, is also coming out in the first half of 2025, so they may get collateral from that as well. Just bad luck all around.

It's the natural cycle. The weak get weeded out to make space for better things

It looks even more bland and uninspired than I expected, to be honest, some obvious Veilguard vibes too. I guess it’s worth grabbing an 8-euro Game Pass key for a month to try Stalker 2 at least, and maybe take a look at this.
