Avowed character creation has pronouns - Elon Musk disapproves, Obsidian art director disapproves of his disapproval

I don't care too much about romances either way, but claiming that having romances is what makes a game woke is silly.

It is what allows a game to be "almost on the same level of degeneracy as BG3" (fucking the bear)
And having companions is what allows having woke companions. It's not romance that's the issue, but the writers behind it.
Nah, romances and companions count for 90% of the wokeness.
As Stalin once said, where there are companions there are problems. No companion, no problem.

If a couple words on a screen is what counts as "preaching" then we're not even having a serious conversation. You're just looking for something to be miserable about.
I'm sure you're fine with the wokes shoving troon propaganda down our throats but normal people are fed up with it. Game devs and Hollywood forgot that their main goal is entertainment, not preaching.

Nah. It doesn't make me 'miserable'. Just disappointed. I'm also not interested in seeing society decay to appease those with an urge to put their sexual fetishes on full public display and I cannot in good conscience support any movement that leads to men, women and children mutilating their bodies and minds. Anything attempting to normalise the use of or glorification of niche pronouns is very much fodder for laying the groundwork for such disgusting practices.

Even putting that argument aside, it's immersion breaking and really lame to have a fantasy setting built with modern day big city demographics, ideologies and overly sanitised language. Veilguard is an excellent example as to why that is the case though it's far from the only example.

Poor Carrie. Avowed was supposed to be her game, her magnum opus, all her life she was only waiting for this moment to arise. Sure it wasn’t going all so well( interviews certainly didn’t help), but the Veilguard happened, the previews looked promising, YouTubers rejoiced. And then… some fucking white cuck couldn’t hold his “rage”. Had the audacity to even call it “MY GAME”. It’s not your FUCKING GAME!!! It’s Carrie’s(and maybe Kate’s)! Girls! You gotta have it too! I sure hope you’re on your knees “begging” Feargus, Spencer, Mr.Pajeet to fulfill this guy dream of living in the woods.
So you could come out with another of your brilliant interviews, saying that your game won’t have an art director as well. That’s the way it is. Save YOUR GAME Carrie! or die with it!

Somehow, somebody who reached the position of art director, is too stupid to use a secondary account for when he starts insulting one of the most famous people on Earth or stating how he's going to break the law. So dumb.
you think they care?
They surround themselves with people like them in the studios - why would they feel anything negative about their action?
edit - it's like company thinking that if people use their real names (and not pseudo/nicknames on forums and whatever Blizz - who started that iirc -uses) to stop the shitposting and trolling, but it's still happening

...which leads to a false sense of security, which translates to doing stupid things like I said.

Yeah it isn't an isolated problem. The vast majority of employees at these gaming studios tend to follow each other on social media and they are not subtle about their opinions. The only logical conclusion, then, is that this stuff was noticed long ago and approved of actively...as evidenced by Josh Sawyer choosing to retweet at least one of the particularly unhinged posts.

It's the same with every major company. Square Enix? Wuk Lamat's voice actor from Final Fantasy XIV has daily meltdowns and aggressively attacks fans. Yoshi-P came out defending the individual in question and tried to play off any and all criticism as 'transphobia' like the slimy little grifter he is.

Blizzard? They hired nutters like Madeline Roux to write supplementary material despite a very obvious online trail of anti-white and anti-men rhetoric.

It's why everyone has a moral obligation to laugh in the face of anyone who tries to play off criticism of pronouns as an over-exaggeration. It's very much a clear sign that a game is infested with unhinged idealogues.

The 'muh both sides in da cultur war' is nonsensical, too. For two reasons. One being that someone criticising progressive ideology going too far does not equal someone being automatically 'Far Right' despite what the compromised mainstream media desperately tries to pretend. Then of course there's the simple fact that the majority of legitimate conservatives as well as many 'normies' just want to be left the hell alone and would rather not see every hobby of theirs hijacked with the goal of catering solely to autogynephiles and their loyal allies.
