A lot of criticism towards Avowed since the cringenoun reveal comes across as

to me.

It's a game very clearly created by anti-white mentally ill progressives. Even before the social media posts revealing a seething contempt for white people were unearthed pattern recognition alone suggested as much.

Add in the pronouns and that just makes the game even more of a hot, embarrassing mess.

Fallout: New Vegas released back in 2010. Obsidian isn't the same company by any stretch as it was back in the supposed 'good old days'. Hopefully this game is what finally destroys what remains of the company's good reputation that they've been grifting off of ever since and those responsible are plunged into misery and unemployment.

Anti-white scum deserve nothing less.

Any normal woke writer would have portrayed the Huana in Deadifre as the morally good faction because their country is being colonized, but as Josh had it they may very well be the worst of the bunch.

Of course, his role in Avowed was fairly peripheral as he describes it, so maybe there will be content along the lines of, "So, I'm non-binary."

If so, things may go badly for Obsidian.

As much as I'd like that to be the case, he has also been going increasingly off the rails in recent years and has even retweeted the anti-white comments himself as a show of support as seen in the image posted a handful of posts back.

Many of today's problems can be attributed to naive, well meaning progressives cowardly siding with the extremist elements under the misguided belief that they will be spared the wrath and contempt themselves.

It didn't work for J.K Rowling. It will not work for him, either. Yet until his inevitable 'cancelling' when he disagrees with the volatile progressives on a single issue like she did, he will only double down.

When that time comes it will be immensely satisfying to watch unfold.

Let's make some predictions. Other than the pronouns in character creation, do you think this game will be degenerate or woke in a similar way to Baldur's Gate 3 (bear fucking etc) or Dragon Age Veilguard (pulling a barve cringe scenes)? Do you think we're going to be watching uncut gameplay footage of Avowed in two months and going "Man, there's gay shit everywhere, wtf"?

Here’s some:
*Not only there not gonna be any competent MAN in power, there not gonna be ANY MAN in power.
*Inquisitor Lodwyn/Iodwyn (or whatever her name is) would be an absolutely BADASS YASS SLAY QUEEN GIRLBOSS, who won’t have any shit from dirty men. She’d always have a better argument, a better reason, always tutoring “stupid” protagonist, and in the end turned to be “right/possessed” all along.
*No reverence for the God(s), even highly religious NPC would always say “god”.
*Some disabled/autistic genius.
*Unlike it was in their previous woke games(FO2, FNV, OW2, Deadfire) you won’t be able to KILL(that’s actually confirmed) someone you hate, don’t agree with, or just plain ol’ don’t like ‘em.
And that last prediction is the most alarming one and the most likely to be true(it already is). For all the wokeism/leftism/gayism/etcism Obsidian games(unless it’s MCA’s story hours) always had a defense mechanism: Don’t like this woke shit? Just fucking kill “it”. No such thing in Avowed, and since Tim Cain/Josh Sawyer retired from directing games — no such thing in obsidian period.
