Tried to buy on Steam... didn't work for some reason. Tried again to buy on Steam. Purchases temporarily blocked for "too many attempts to purchase".

Err ok then, I'll just pay your competitor and never use you again? Fucking retards.

lol check out the Ars Technica preview: https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2020...access-mediocre-rpg-amazing-rendering-engine/

Somebody felt like being a contrarian today!
He sounds like RPG Codex material:

When I got the chance to play Baldur's Gate 3 in early access, I jumped on it—I've been a Dungeons & Dragons enthusiast for roughly 40 years, going back to Blue Book Basic D&D as a small child in the late 1970s. To the best of my knowledge, I've played every licensed D&D and AD&D computer RPG ever made. They haven't all been winners, but the original Baldur's Gate was probably the most widely loved of the franchise—it boasted an expansive, interesting world with bold voice talent and characters.

My favourite elf is Carl Johnson CJ, from Baldur's Gate: San Andreas. Loved doing drive-by with his elven homies from their ghetto woods

I don't know why anyone would want to watch a streamer play an RPG, especially if it has a D&D style character creation system.

Personally, because I already know the game isn't for me, so I'm just watching to shitpost a bit about it. If this was ELEX 2 I'd avoid Twitch streams and spoilers at any cost.

As expected, the game seems to be a piece of shit, and a wasted opportunity to create a sequel to Baldur's Gate. I actually considered playing it for at least the refundable hour, but if even the normies who liked OS don't like this crap then I don't see how I ever will.
