Many people watch it during work, like I did.Whenever I see these hour-long streams, I wonder: do people really have that much free time to follow something like this? And even if they did, is this the option they choose to spend that time on, really? I think I really am getting old.
Maybe on their next shill tour they could present something worthwhile, like proper pathfinding or day and night cycles instead of gay bear sex.

Have you ever been like in your early twenties?Whenever I see these hour-long streams, I wonder: do people really have that much free time to follow something like this? And even if they did, is this the option they choose to spend that time on, really? I think I really am getting old.
Seriously, no day/night?? What is this, a mid-90s console game? I might have to take that personally.Maybe on their next shill tour they could present something worthwhile, like proper pathfinding or day and night cycles instead of gay bear sex.
More like clown-designed. Heh-heh.Seriously, no day/night cycle?
Larian really went down a weird path since their games are being crowd-designed by the BioWare Social refugees.
A classic salesman's manipulation. Salesmanship is very evil because it uses your good nature against you. It's easy to be mean about a product, so they attach a token amount of friendly, likeable faces to it. If you're not a crazy person, it's going to be instinctually much more tough to be mean when you have the human element at play. I'm not simply writing rude remarks about an essentially worthless entertainment product, I'm harming these fine hardworking folks! Better make any criticisms I may have "constructive"Is anyone else growing tired of video game marketing these days being so self centered around the devs behind the game?
Bethesda and now Larian. These clowns try so hard to be likeable in front of a camera. They think their like-ability will transfer into a great game experience. Somehow?..
I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. Crunch or don't crunch. I don't give a fuck if you had to crunch for 6 months straight to do Day / Night cycles and NPC schedules and an immersive world I can engage with. Make it happen or fuck off with your gay pandering bullshit for easy sales and attention you QUEERS you're a disgrace..

Swen's been clear that he doesn't want it to just be cosmetic. He wants them to go all the way or not do it all, and unfortunately that means creating homes and beds and schedules for everybody.Even BG1 had day/night... as well as weather effects. Now 25 years later we apparently can't do it anymore. Expectations dropped even lower...
Then he should have gone all the way and created homes and beds and schedules for everybody. Why would anyone pay $70 for video game sex when porn on the internet is free?Swen's been clear that he doesn't want it to just be cosmetic. Start developing games or fuck off Swen!
And as a result it's less of a worthy sequel to Baldur's Gate 2. They might as well have made it a mobile game. As an old school Baldur's Gate fan it would be just as shit and not worth my time. They'd probably reach their target audience better with a shitty mobile porn game, the zoomers would have ate that up. I don't know why they wasted everyones time with this half arsed garbage.
It's less of a burden to make cutscenes than it is to make all this for an entire game.
16 thousand "people" were sucking their dicks at that stream. Let that sink in, and despair. And as a result it's less of a worthy sequel to Baldur's Gate 2. When I think about Baldur's Gate, "day and night cycles" doesn't come across as something that was important. It was something they had just to have it. Bioware clearly didn't think it was important when they made their spiritual successor. And as a result it's less of a worthy sequel to Baldur's Gate 2. They might as well have made it a mobile game. It's not even about the cycles by themselves. There's a lot more to it than that and you're nitpicking. There's a lot of reasons to pan this game. When I think about Baldur's Gate, "day and night cycles" doesn't come across as something that was important. It was something they had just to have it. Pillars of Eternity had the cycles though. Was it a big thing? No.
I have no idea what you're mad about. BG3 is looking like a far more ambitious role playing game than BG.t's not even about the cycles by themselves. There's a lot more to it than that and you're nitpicking. There's a lot of reasons to pan this game.
