    I'm actually really perplexed how Fallout 2 can be the very best one, while Fallout 1 is the least good one because it has "aged badly". Gameplay is 90% the same between the two games. What aged badly about Fallout 1 that doesn't also apply to Fallout 2?

    Internalized homophobia.

    Fallout 2 had interface and system tweaks and a lot more content. Things you can't do in Fallout: Push NPCs out of the way, click a take all button, move stuff in and out of your companions' inventories without stealing, see how much weight you can carry total in the inventory itself, move money in increments of more than $999, and so on.
