Priceless. Everything sucks here, from the blatant false modesty content, to the grammatically lacking form.

Too many virtual boobs, not enough real flesh.

Anyone have a list of the legendary threads of Codex?

Besides the stickies in retardo. I was hoping for more.

Seems that Taleworlds (M&B forum) loves them some DA:O.

    http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,79568.0.html

To be honest, there are quite a few voices against the "greatest game evah"-crowd but when one of the loudest spear-carriers is a moderator, they shut up quite quickly.

Yes. That's it. The best thread ever.

That forum is pure, solid gold. In just 5 minutes you'll have laughing material. I realize the laugh is old for some of you, but I never knew such retardedness excisted.

They don't like to read, apparently:

    http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index ... ic=1056531

    Maybe it hurts their brain?

    Something about living, breathing worlds:

    http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index ... ic=1056766

This one is almost kind of creative in its utter retardedness:

    Also:

EDIT: Wow. That Morrowind Graphics Extender looks really good. Why aren't people investing this amount of time and effort into good games instead of this shit?

Reminds me of that time I roleplayed a warrior-mage-thief with 100 in all of the attributes and used swords and bows and spells whenever I wanted to. I was roleplaying a paladin though so I only completed quests for good people and guilds like the main quest and fighters guild and mages guild, although I ended up playing the thieves guild as well since the head guy wasn't really bad, and I also played the Dark Brotherhood questline because I roleplayed that I was actually going undercover and was going to use the chance to destroy the Dark Brotherhood at the end except you get 200 gold every week so I figured it was better to just roleplay that they had learned their lesson and let them be so that I could get the gold.

Yeah, I once roleplayed a PC-gamer who was bored out of his skull. Whenever he played Oblivion, he would insert another disc and play another game instead. Most fun I've ever had with TES4.

As funny as the text is, there is something I find weird. Didn't people complain about having to do stupid shit like jumping around all the time to get +5 for every attribute? I thought it was hard to get 100 in every attribute.

I can understand why people roleplay in MMOs. It ends up being a big circle jerk. But why the fuck would people do it by themselves? They probably talk to themselves in real life.

Roleplaying in MMOs can be fun, and in pen and paper it's awesome.

But doing it in a singleplayer game where it's just a game of "let's pretend" and the game-world and NPCs don't even react to your roleplaying, it's just retarded. It's like adding features to the game in your mind, even though these features don't exist. It's like single player pen and paper, only a lot more idiotic. You're better off writing a novel or even some lousy fan fiction.

    I loved this part:

"Well if Morrowind dosn't hold up to TES IV Oblivion, then nothing will. Did you try Fallout 3? That is the closet to Oblivion you will get.

How about Baulders Gate? Or the new Baulders Gate, Dragon Age Origins?

I was going to say Arena and Daggerfall, but if Morrowind dosn't hold up then these games will not either. Remember graphics isn't everything, game play is."
