Some of the people in that thread, like Papy, seem just right for the codex. I think Espark would be seen as going way too far even by the most raving ESFers.

I dunno. I think anyone that says that the stupidly unbalanced and enigmatic skills in SS2 were a good thing has shitty taste.

Aren't we all forgetting the main issue here?

If the game is good, it will not sell because it will be too hard and complex for the masses, and Irrational games will shut down.

If the game sucks, it will sell, but none of us will want to play it, or trust Irrational games again.
