...By putting 1.5Gb file full of zeros for sale as DLC. Successful troll is successful. Bioware doesn't treat their "fans" as normal human beings. And they are absolutely right in doing so.

Your ignore list.
Ohhh... so this is why it's taking so long for the free version to come out.

Props for the scene guys for not releasing a buggy software to the public :smug:

But guys, the Xbox360 version has no such problems. The DLC there works fine. Clearly another point in favour of the superior machine.

How many 0s does it take to hit 1.5gb?
1.5 * 2^30.

For illiterate it's slightly more than 1,500,000,000. (And use capital letters.)

Don't they use compression any more? If a file contains only zeros, the compressed file will be only a couple of bytes. Discerning people might find that conspicious.

Didn't you get the memo? The bigger the files, the more AAA it is.

thats because scene guys have a reputation to think off, while official guys dont.

Well it still needs to be authenticated and that is were the "crack" comes in, if EA is nice enough to leave it unprotected in their servers that means people can get it on very fast servers (the EA ones) and then get the much smaller crack.

Of course EA never really bothered with keeping the DLC "secure", even if they seem up have changed things with the Firepower Pack.

Edit:

There is no point to "crack" this DLC as its already been cracked.
